Not about Atheists per se tho. About "family values" republicans. There must be a conspiricy afoot for them to have THAT many divorces and all due to adultery.

It was most likely a christian group that did the survey in the first place. Better to get a divorce than to put up with the beatings of a catholic. people get devorces because they are not happy. Religious people have a harder time cause God doesn't approve of divorce. Simple answer.

Religion force gender roles that are just not functional. Marriages influenced by religious teaching is worse than having a meddling mother in law.
