And then come back and tell me how, when I have said many many times that my book, "The Book of Barabbas" is strictly a work of fiction, I managed to be accused not only of anti-semitism (I have gotten several emails that actually contain death threats! I have never considered myself as an anti-anything!)....but now, I am actually being accused of blasphemy!

The Da Vinci Code was clearly labeled fiction and look at the uproar that caused. Some people are just silly.

I don't know if it is funny or sad when people worry that their religious beliefs cannot stand up to a work of fiction.

I do not read fiction. I especially would not get involved with a book of such a title. I don't know anything about any death threats, you should call the police and have the ISP addresses traced. But I will not be buying any book that adds to or pretends to add to God's word. God tells us to abstain from all appearances of evil. To publish a book with that title is pretending its part of the Bible. Shame on you.

Are you a Christian? We will know you by the fruits you bear. You cannot use Christianity to sell fiction books.

I have never read that book. But if it's being touted as fiction, then there you are. The difference between those things that are fictional and the Bible, is that the claim of the Bible is that it's true. So . . . you choose to believe it or not.

It's not me who is going to choose for anyone. And I think that anyone who disbelieves it and does not want to know God in the first place is wasting their time trying to give it a bad name.

I find it interesting that God has no voice of his own yet there are many willing to speak for God as well commit atrocities in his name.

The ultimate evil in this world in acts of suppression of free thinking. If you look at the action of the religious they seem to need to stop the flow of all other ideas to keep there religions alive. The was my first clue of the falseness of religions.
