The Jews crucified Jesus, they persecuted the early Christians, they deny that Jesus was the Messiah and they even "demonize" Him and calling Him the "False Prophet".

If you were compatible in every other way except in spritual beliefs. I do mean every way, including morals. What I'm getting at is, would you not date a person who is an atheist, but would not hesitate to date, if they shared your beliefs?

And if any atheists answer this question, I do not have a problem dating a theist and if atheism is the truth then dating a theist should not affect my beliefs. I can entertain beliefs that I do not personally hold.

This is a question to those not raised Christian.
or
Those who were Christian but drifted away, because they had harden their hearts to the word of God.

What's your story? I wasn't raised Christian. I've been to church when I was younger, but I didn't really know why. I think I was there because my family was poor and they went for the free food. So I was in bible study. But I don't remember too much of it then. I've even worshiped the devil when I was a teen. See I was a great soccer player, and I got really arrogant. I even praised and worshipped myself. I felt Satan gave me the gift. Eventually I got injured. During that time I realized how wrong i've been. It gave me time to hear God's word. I was too busy living my life and being arrogant that I couldn't hear God. My life had overtaken him. I am glad it happened otherwise I would have been lost still.

What's your story?

We are so blessed in the Western World, to still be able to have, own, keep, Love, read, and speak the Bible.
Many countries don't have this privalidge!
If you don't have one and would like one, no matter where you are, go to my profile and message me please!
If you don't have one you and still don't want one, you are at the moment very blind and of a foolish heart!

Please don't tell me you are just an innocent lamb, and have no right to guess what God thinks. (He is our Heavenly father, any good father would love to have his children "think about things")

So, what does God think about the Bible?

If atheism is a religion, and religion should be banned from public schools, then shouldn't the Theory of Evolution and the Big Bang be banned.

For those of you who will argue that it's just a theory to existence, well then isn't creationism also a theory.

How come the earth spins on its axis and rotates around the sun at the same speed. You would think if the earth was the result of the big boom theory, that these rotations would eventually stop, or at least slow down, due to the gravitational pull of the sun. Whats keeping everything so orderly? How can harmony come from such kaos?

This is a very hard question. My family aren't Christians. My sister's husbands aren't either. I don't know their fate, but I doesn't look good where it seems to be heading. I also feel responsible and guilty. Should I be? Is it my job? It's hard and it's a matter of respect. Especially with my parents. I just don't have the strength and courage to change them. I'm also knew to this. This is all new to me. It's sad I didn't grow up in a devout christian family. I was blessed to have found the truth. I

I've opened up my eyes for the first time. I opened my heart for the first time. I need help. I don't know what to do. I feel the guilt.

In Butte, Montana, the catholic church put up a huge statue of Mary on the ridge overlooking the town. People pay a "donation" to have it lit for a night to buy the favor of Mary.

This is one reason I left the Catholic church. I mean no disrespect for the mother of Jesus, but she is simply not God, and this is pure Idolatry.

I asked this question and I did not say that I don't think there is a God. I said that there is no proof one way or the other.

I do not ever say that I believe there is a God bcause I don't know for sure. I think there is a God. To me. that is a big difference.

I just don't get this debate about prove He does exist, no you prove He does not exist.

Please tell me if there is anyway in this world right now to prove His existance one way or the other. Am I missing something here?

It's the craxiest thing I've ever seen. He hits the light pole, falls flat on his butt, and then gets back up and rings my doorbell again. It's been going on for nearly two hours. I called the police, but they told me that he's the President and he can do it all he wants.

What if your earthly father moved to another part of the universe and said, "You can't ever see me until you die, so you just have to pray to me. And when I feel like responding (sometimes I won't), I will give you feelings that you will have to carefully interpret, because not everyone will agree with the interpretation. Oh yeah, and you'll have to be 'in the spirit' to interpret my answers, otherwise you'll get all confused."

I live in Utah, so yea, there are mormon churches every minute you drive. They all look the same, with a big pointy thing on the top. Other churches have a cross, symbolizing Christ, who died for our sins. What does the long point represent?
