Hinduism and Taoism/Daoism are very old and you will have to look them up as there are many historical events and figures related to them.
For the other two, start with Buddha and Confuscious

Dear jennie,
I am sorry to look at your question and i pity you for the answers you got.
They are answered by non Hindus.
There are many famous figures associated with Hinduism.
that's an Infinte ocean consisting of infinte pearls unlike christianity or Islam which i compare to lakes.
Three gods are called as trimurthi's(three gods). They are Bhrahma(god of generation), His wife Saraswathi(goddess of education),Vishnu(god of care and concern) his wife laxmi(godess of wealth),Shiva(god of ending),His wife parvathi(goddess of all happiness).
This vishnu will come earth for putting people in a right way and to save from rakshasas(daemons) in all yugas(a yuga is span of time typically goes over thousand years). He took various forms like Surya(sun god) etc. to feed the Humans. we mark yugas when vishnu takes a nwe birth on earth. In krithayuga all devatas(angels) rakshasa(daemons) lived together. the generation of all gods took place in kritha yuga.
In tretayuga(another yuga) vishnu took birth as rama. in dvapara yuga he came as Krishna.
According to hindu epics he will take ten births in four yugas
the fourth yuga being kaliyuga(now going). These four yugas constitute a kalpa(measure of time). at the end the shiva will destroy all living beings and in the next kalpa bhrahma will create all of them for a new start.
