i literally lost it all. in the past year i basically lost everyhting: lost my gf where we've been dating for 3 years, lost all my friends due to a false rumor, everyone in my family hates me, and constantly reminded of the past of the things ive done wrong. i feel like Job in the Bible. wheenver i pray at night i tell myself in the very beginning that im not even worthy to talk to the Lord and that he'll just ignore for all the things ive done, so i just didnt pray and i havent prayed for months. right now my life is still rockbottom. tell me why should i come back to the Lord after following Him and then just losing everyhitng? was this just to learn a lesson?. o and ive been going to a christian private school all my life so verses could help.

you know i think alot of people are turned off from the bible because of the way it is written. but Jesus was a jew and did not talk like that, no one in the bible actually said stuff like- thou, thee, unto---so if this is one of the reasons you turned away from it, try reading a different version(i read the amplified bible, it is in plain english, i am a little leary of the things written in "",but i think there are other american versions). this is something that came to my mind one day.

My last question was among bible and science which one correct and I got 99% saying that science is correct and bible is wrong . Now the question is if bible is wrong don’t you think that what ever written in Hindu ethics is correct which supports science or science say that what ever mentioned in Hinduism is correct ? Science never proved that whatever mentioned in Hinduism is wrong and also have proved that whatever mentioned it that is correct . But when we take whatever mentioned in Christianity (bible ) has proved wrong by science .why and what do u think .

And if He's everywhere then He's in Hell too, or He's not everywhere.

So if God is in Hell, why can't you "find" Him there?

How does it make you feel as a skeptical non-believing atheist, that the God of Abraham, whom you say does not even exist, will actually get the last word in on you?

For thousands of years Gods words and Gods will has been alive in the hearts, minds and deeds of countless multitudes of men. I see this trend continuing.

Just think of all the scoffers and skeptics that have come and gone, yet God remains.

After all, a man named Niche once said “God is dead”; soon after God said “Niche is dead” and so will be the case with you.

How do really feel about the fact that a made up God is actually going to out live you?

Tonights south park portrayed Jesus being stabbed in the neck by Kyle and bleeding to death. Then Jesus killed a man. The entire episode mocked Christianity and Catholicism specifically. Some of it I have to admit was funny but I was pretty offended. Regardless, it seems Christians will most likely not kill nuns, burn embassies and riot like when Muslims have been offended recently. Or maybe they will. What do you think?

i mean it seems the religion aspect has kinda hurt the faith with the seperation of all the denominations and everything.most the time i really feel more comfortable saying im a follower of jesus than a christian,and by the way the term christian was made up by the pagans.

Earlier today someone posted a joke about Christans, I posted the same joke using Atheits and got reported.
Why is it OK to for one group to say what they please, but when we respond we get reported.
I don't know how this works, is this normal? Is that what everybody does to each other?
I have seen a lot worse posted on here and the person didn't get reported.
I am still going to try to help people who are searching for answers.
I just want to know how often this happens.

The basic argument against pascals wager is that, if you claim to believe in god because you'd rather just not chance going to hell. God would be able to see right through it, you think god will take a half assed claim of belief that he is real? For someone who doesn't believe, its impossible to say you believe and really mean it.

Thats my argument, anyone else?

Since humans descended from monkeys, why don't you just accept them as Gods and worship them?
If they are Gods, then you win. If not, then you haven't lost anything.

Do you have morals? If you do, then thank the monkey God for them.

Hi, im an unbaptised publisher and so is the person im seeing. We would both very much want to marry. But, can we do this and have an elder conduct the ceremony? i know we cant have it at the kingdom hall cause we hve to be baptised first. pliz help. confused.
