If their religion keeps them from doing the wrong things, then I say that's a very good possibility.

I must point out, that the first to answer does not always yield the most thorough wisdom. I believe (myself as a philosophy major and an agnostic) that religion is not something that is exactly identical for any two people. Spirituality and religion are personal to each individual and may work as a variation of things to satisfy missing pieces in a persons life. I think that if religion is something that is the key to personal betterment, then whatever your belief may be, dedication will lead you to the summit of the mountain. The imposition of one religion upon a group of people because i.e "The bible" says it's right does not mean that it is correct for that group of people. Customs and individual beliefs of that group of that people are sacred things to them and should not be altered by claims of divine authority.

If you have to cross a river, there are many ways about it. Some people will agree to take the same route, others will take a different way and still arrive at the same destination. Who can dictate who is right if the goal is reached?

i feel the arguements are kinda weak, like perhaps muslims feel Allah created everything, and the hindus feel brahman is impersonable, the muslims say that Allah's nature is beyond human thought to describe, we can only describe how his nature manifests through our senses, so they could be describing Brahman, which the hindus will say any description even a description of brahman like the one contained in the article, would not be adequate.

and the differences in religions of thoughts after death, mostly speculation,
when the enlightened gudo was asked where do men go when they are dead, he said, how should i know, i'm not dead

i think in order to write this article with credibility one would have to walk each path and find out( what, 4 or 5 lifetimes?), or talk to the wisest people he could in each faith.

No time this minute to read it but it depends. Not all paths. But many do and many don't. For example if one practices Buddhism they could end up in the Brahman effulgence ( the light shining from the body of God. This is where all impersonality's who don't want to serve God go. For those who worship Christ may go to heaven if they follow his original teachings(but only a few know what he actually said) And for those who follow Vishnu they will go to that place in the eternal abode . those who are Hindus will go to what ever demi god they worship and for those who worship Krishna will reach the highest spiritual Abode of all other spiritual worlds. It really depends on what aspect of God one worships. He is unlimited so there are unlimited options. For more info go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells all paths.

I didn't read your article, but I believe so. I believe as long as you love and forgive, you will be accepted in the end.

If the world had only one religion then we wouldn't have a way to test tolerance... not that we as a globe are passing that test very well.

assuming that there is only one mountain then yes.

i believe in many gods, so i would see many mountains. and many paths. some leading up some leading down, and some stopping somewhere in the middle.

Excellent question! I love the page too.

I believe there are many roads to God. I don't think He cares which road you take, or if you take no road.

I think one should listen to what Jesus said, as recorded in John 14:6....

"I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father, but by me".

The divine is inside of us all.

You reminded me of one of my favorite quotes: "The man on top of the mountain did not fall there."
