What's Buddhism all about? What's the attracting point which made their followers stick to it?

Just like how Christianity's about living in faith for Christ and accept His gift of salvation... How about the Buddhism side of story?

I believe whole heartedly in God. I want to know why some people don't and others do. I can't understand what makes people dislike or disbelieve in him. Please tell me!

It's doesn’t bother me when someone says they don't believe Jesus is God or that they are an atheist, but moronic do you have to be to assume that he never existed.

The first-century Roman Tacitus, who is considered one of the more accurate historians of the ancient world, mentioned superstitious "Christians " ("named after Christus" which is Latin for Christ), who suffered under Pontius Pilate during the reign of Tiberius. Suetonius, chief secretary to Emperor Hadrian, wrote that there was a man named Chrestus (or Christ) who lived during the first century (Annals 15.44 ).

Flavius Josephus is the most famous Jewish historian. In his Antiquities he refers to James, “the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ.”

Julius Africanus quotes the historian Thallus in a discussion of the darkness which followed the crucifixion of Christ (Extant Writings, 18).

Pliny the Younger, in Letters 10:96, recorded early Christian worship practices including the fact that Christians worshiped Jesus as God and were very ethical, and includes a reference to the love feast and Lord’s Supper.

The Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 43a) confirms Jesus' crucifixion on the eve of Passover, and the accusations against Christ of practicing sorcery and encouraging Jewish apostasy.

In conclusion, there is overwhelming evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ, both in secular and Biblical history. Perhaps the greatest evidence that Jesus did exist is the fact that literally thousands of Christians in the first century A.D., including the 12 apostles, were willing to give their lives as martyrs for Jesus Christ. People will die for what they believe to be true, but no one will die for what they know to be a lie.

There are billions of stars in our galaxy, and billions of galaxies in our universe. There are bound to be (if you will allow me) other planets with human inhabitants similar to us. Let's say even one planet has had a history similar to ours. Would that planet then have had another Jesus, a 2nd Son of God, or would Jesus (the only Son of God) have lived on that planet, and therefore have died twice and have been resurrected twice?

I have written several questions and received answers. Using these answers and the questions themselves I would propose this as a theory.

The United States is a country where there are worshippers of many and varied Gods and many who do not except any Gods. This is well and true to the First Amendment of the Constitution of this nation. Any claim that this United States is a nation of any specific religion is in conflict with the United States Constitution’s Bill of Rights. As long as there is a pantheon of Gods or lack thereof in which people have faith, this is a secular nation of religious freedom. If any Government Official or document claims one religion as paramount over all others that Government Official and the document are legally in contravention of the Constitution and its Bill of Rights. Just the variation of Answers in my former Question the above is proven true.

I always wondered. I'm glad they do, to me it's like they do have faith and need someone to say the right thing that will help them recognize it within themselves.

I just started about a month ago, and I have a book that tells the different meanings of the cards. Alot of the cards that I get seem accurate for the situations, but I'm having a hard time getting my readings to flow together ... if that makes sense.
Is this something that develops over time? Or are there any techniques that could help me with this particular problem?

By the way, I've been using the traditional "Celtic cross" layout and also a 3 card spread.

I have found many websites, but they are confusing. And I live in a small town where there is no Catholic Church to go to. I am thinking of making my religion Catholic, but I would like to learn everything about it. If you personally know anything, or have a good website I would greatly appriciate it!

I have always had this “theory” that what many think of as space aliens are really the fallen angels from the bible. I can imagine that when the Anti-Christ begins to declare himself God, some people will scoff and ask where his angels are. Then he will laugh out loud and command legions of UFOs to land and beings of SOME KIND will get out and worship him as God.

I am thinking that this along with the threat of a head removal would convince even the most hard core atheist. What do you think?

Isaiah 53 (written 2700 years ago)
3He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him.

5But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
6All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has made to light upon Him the guilt and iniquity of us all.
