I have found many websites, but they are confusing. And I live in a small town where there is no Catholic Church to go to. I am thinking of making my religion Catholic, but I would like to learn everything about it. If you personally know anything, or have a good website I would greatly appriciate it!

Most places or maybe towns nearby should have a Christian Book store. You can get a lot of info there.

Look to towns near you and find a Catholic church. Give them a phone call and they'll direct you to the best course of action for your situation.

If you have a book store look and see if they can order this for you, the nearest Catholic church may be able to help you acquire one as well:
Catechism of the Catholic Church
CCCB
ISBN: 0-88997-281-8

http://www.ewtn.com/faith/teachings/index.htm

Every path to Deity or Creator is special to the individual in the Melting Pot of some countries. I wish you well on your journey! I hope you finally find a home!

I became Catholic 10 years ago.

You need to have a Catholic church near you...so you can attend Mass. Go to http://www.masstimes.org and find the closest Catholic Church to your area.

You can attend RCIA which is the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. This is usually about 6 months and you can learn about the faith. There is a lot to understanding Catholicism...there is a lot of minunderstanding out there, so you need to get your information from a true source.

A really good website is http://www.catholic.com - they have a forum section where you can read and post questions. They can help you out, there are some very knowledgeable and helpful people there.

The Catholic church is a wonderful place to be if you are truly seeking a deep relationship with Christ. A lot of fundamentalists will tell you myths about Catholic beliefs...but do not listen...listen to God and seek him, he will lead you.

you could observe mass in a neighbouring town. you could inquire into the rcia classes at a parish nearby,if you want to become catholic you will need to take these classes. for research these are the websites that i usually frequent and have found very useful.

www.scripturecatholic.com
www.fisheaters.com
www.catholicism.about.org
www.catholiceducation.org
www.salvationhistory.com
www.ewtn.com(also has a q&a forum you can join, a panel of experts will respond to any question you may have)
www.newadvent.org

i recommend you go to www.salvationhistory.com and use the free study course it offers,
http://www.salvationhistory.com/online/coursesofstudy.cfm

i suggest beginning with the salvation history track course first,it is entirely free, can be done at your own pace and comes with a printable version so you can compile a folder, make notes etc.......if even just for a good informative read.

to go into detail about the church would take some time, but importantly it is the first christian church instituted by jesus himself and was promised the guidance of the holy spirit. the catholic church is the one true holy and apostolic church these sites will help you to understand why. some may be hard to grasp at times but be patient and prayerful. may god richly bless you and i hope this was of some benefit in helping you.

The best thing I could suggest is to find a Chuch somewhere and take a religious ed class. If you want to become Catholic, try RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). It explains the faith and everything you need to now to become Catholic. My friend went through it and is becoming Catholic on Saturday! Other than that, I'd suggest go to a book store and pick up the Cathecism of the Catholic Church. It has all the teaching of the Church rolled into one book. It's pretty wordy though, so I don't know if you'd like it. Seriously though, try and find a church with RCIA. Hope that helped.

beliefs in religious lies and deceptions are worthless...........

Here's what you need to do to eliminate religion from your life:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any other being with Spiritual intelligence.

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!
