The bible says there are and have been many antichrists.
Bush seems to fit the biblical description to a T, so I am surprised this connection has not been made more often:

Some exact quotes from the bible (1 John and 2 John):
+ a deceiver
+ the man of lawlessness
+ distort the truth
+ false teacher
+ secretly introduce destructive heresies
+ the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come

And this from wikipedia:
In summary: antichrists call themselves Christian, but teach deceptive, rather than blatant, false doctrine. This also includes misdirection of faith.

Many people claim to have had encounters with extra-terristials from other planets or say that they saw UFO's. Is it possible that they really saw angels? I'm taking a Christian Scriptures course, and I have an exam in a couple weeks on Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts. I have gotten behind and unfortunately, now have to read all 5 of these books in 2 weeks!

Of course, I can read them in 2 weeks, but it's hard for me, because when I read Scriptures, I just naturally want to take my time and chew over every word. Are you like that, or do you read them quickly?

This is Passion Week. It begins with our Lord driving away traders from the Church - (the profit concept has vehemently come back to the church). Then we see the betrayal of Christ by one of His trusted disciples as it happens today too by His own accredited Worldly Agents. Since Sunday TV programmes commercially designed by an Indian Televangelist telecast Hollywood clippings of most dreaded physical torture on Jesus Christ like whipping, dragging, nailing and throwing around the Cross with the weeping Jesus Christ nailed to it and blood oozing out from His wounds. Irrespective of divisions, this sight will make any one sob. As a human being I feel deeply hurt & offended. 'Change the channel' my 'Yahoobrethren' suggested on similar complaints! Please express your comments without reservations.

could a satan like evil god be atually in control of everything? and he plans on sending us all to hell when we die, and all these dreams of heaven and goodness and jesus and salvation where just lies to make the sting of going to hell even worse. that is the worst thing an evil god could do, pretend like he is good and tell peope they are going to heaven, just to send them to hell for eternity anyway. so how do you know it isnt like that? seriously?

Yesterday I asked a question about the Big Bang, and I learned some things I did not know. I appreciate all the people who answered. Thank you for your time and your patience.

I learned that the Big Bang theory postulates an explosion that began with an ultra dense object, something I didn't know.
I learned that most science types agree that the universe is expanding, and that it can not be "infinite" in the sense of being all that exists. I learned that most agree they don't know what might be "out there".
I'm wondering if it might be possible that what lies beyond the limits of the universe might not be God?
Why or why not?
(tell me about the pink unicorns if you must, but understand that I'm gonna have a drink if you do :-)
(Hey, it's all in good fun, and I, also, groan every time I hear one of my own faith try to convince an atheist with Pascal's Wager. )
