God created man in his on SPIRITUAL IMAGE, not physical image. everything revolves around God! We (because of our Ego, believe the same thing) God is a Divine force that resides in each one of us. A force like magnetism, Gravity, strong and weak nuclear forces. No one can tell you what those forces are only how they act (action at a distance). I just listed the 4 forces of nature that man has recognized, they are all alike only different. God is the ultimate force and lives with in all of us!

Because this is all made up. It's not so much that god created man in its image--it's that man created god in his image. People weren't going to make up a god in some kind of alien form to which they could not relate.

When Adam and Eve sinned against God by going against his wishes, he threw them out into the world. Read the Book of Genesis. I think you will see the answer. Everyone who reads the Bible can understand God if they truely seek his will.
Although I cant see or touch God physically, since I became a Christian I can feel his presence the more I study the Bible. If you know Jesus as your personal saviour, you too can know God. Read the book of Romans on how to become a saved.

God is spirit and the eternal spirit of man is the "image " of God. God did manifest himself in his son Jesus and has shown himself and his personality to man through His creation and His word. Any man truly seeking God will find Him. All men, whether great or small will eventually answer to Him.

Because it's our soul that was created in his image. And your soul is capable of having a relationship with God.

Because "God" is formless and invisible...your use of the mind of God fills every cell, is every cell, and atom/molecule, particle, of your physicality. And yet, you did not create yourself; God did/does that in a joyous release of perfect love.

Because He is a spirit, and we can spiritually see and hear Him. He gave us physical senses for the physical world, and spiritual senses for the spiritual world.
The fact that you don't perceive spiritual things will never convince me I don't perceive spiritual things.

If God does exist, he/she/it certainly is profoundly incompetent in the area of brand marketing.
Zeus, Allah, Yahweh, and a zillion other entities.
Which one is the ONE TRUE GOD?
And why is GOD incapable of making it clear, consistently, to everyone.
