could a satan like evil god be atually in control of everything? and he plans on sending us all to hell when we die, and all these dreams of heaven and goodness and jesus and salvation where just lies to make the sting of going to hell even worse. that is the worst thing an evil god could do, pretend like he is good and tell peope they are going to heaven, just to send them to hell for eternity anyway. so how do you know it isnt like that? seriously?

Jesus calls satan "the god of this world"
the one that Jesus calls "the only true God" says that He will soon put an end to all human ruled governments and install His righteous government with His son as King.

That doesn't mean that a good God doesn't exist. Rather the true God allows Satan, the "wicked one" to try to prove his point (see Job 2:2-7).
However, God will not allow bad things to happen forever. He assures us in the Bible that "just a little while longer and the wicked one will be no more". -Psalm 37:9-11; Romans 16:20

What if god has tricked to into believing that satan is evil when in fact it's the other way around. We talked about it in philosophy class a couple of weeks ago.
