It is his natural look, I guess, he did not study enough to be a good actor to mask well his feelings and emotions.

Pope Benedict, expected by many to be a no-nonsense Pope due to his background and career, has confounded the expectations of many in his papacy by his gentle public persona and his promise to listen.
In the early 1990s, Pope Benedict suffered a stroke, which slightly impaired his eyesight temporarily. He is still not in the best of health, which could attribute to how you perceive the look on his face.
It has nothing to do with the "end of times".

I wish people would get their facts straight The Pope was forced into the Nazi youth group and did not stay.

You've probably only seen a few pictures of him.
If you ever watch him on tv or actually go through his life, you'll see he's actually a very smart and sweet man.
All boys in Germany were FORCED into the hitler youth.

He doesn't like anything. Not other religions, not gays, not women who can be distinguished from doormats, not modern music or movies. Plus he knows he's only the placefiller until the "real" next Pope comes along.

I think he is Evil, he was in the Hitler Youth. Some say he was forced to join, but a true virtuous person would before joining
