My father is a used car dealer. And he's a good Christian and is honest and would never ever in a million years cheat anyone.

But since car dealers have a reputation for being dishonest, it seems that a lot of people have this stupid idea that it's somehow ok to cheat and lie to car dealers.

So this guy who is a long-time friend, who was my Sunday School teacher, and is now an ordained lay speaker, came to trade in his car, and he totally lied to us about its condition. When I found this out, I was devastated. I feel like you can't trust anyone now!

Why did he think it was ok to lie to us and try to cheat us?

Would you do that? And is your decision about what to do in that case determined in any way by your religion or religious beliefs?

Thanks.

*I know this isn't really religion related...

I find this so interesting...there are 7 different "intelligences" we all have. Some people are stronger in some areas than others. They are:
Linguistic
Logical-Mathematical
Spatial
Bodily-Kinesthetic
Musical
Naturalistic
Interpersonal
Intrapersonal
--He did consider other ones like Spiritual, Moral, and Existentail (see, I made it relate to this category!) but did not include them in the theory.

Do you know which areas you are strongest in? If you want, you can take the test to find out here: http://www2.bgfl.org/bgfl2/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks3/ict/multiple_int/questions/choose_lang.cfm

I'm interested in what other people's strong points are.
I score highest in Intrapersonal, my lowest is Interpersonal (I'm not much of a social creature, I guess.)

Even if you don't want to take the test, choose one from the list that you think most fits you.

Thanks! :)

~How does Adam, Noah, and everyone live to be hundreds of years old?

~Why are there no physical descriptions of anyone in the bible? (not completely sure on this, maybe I missed them)

~Where did the wives that married Adam's sons come from if Eve was supposedly the first and only woman at that time?

~How does Noah fit thousands of species of animals onto a boat without having it sink because they had no supplies (hammers, nails, table saws, etc weren't invented yet) to built it to a good enough quality?

If you don't know the answer to one you can answer the ones you know, thanks in advance.

I mean it is only fair that the whole paragraph is shown not just one sentence or a couple of words from it.

It's getting tiring seeing people who claim Muslims condone extremism when they don't know sh**, have never travelled enough and base their judgement on Osama and CNN.

Ok, Ok, I confess. Thales asked that question 600 BCE and it has stumped scientists and philosophers for the past 2600 years.

Well, make a guess. What never changes?

In the movie "The Passion" , does the actor really receive all that punishment?
Why the Catholic Church banned "The Temptation..." and workshiped "The Passion"?
I think that if Jesus was a leader, also had fans, so being in loved with a woman is natural.
Do you like to think Jesus as a married man?

Dont you know the borders of God's beloved Israel was expanded to include the whole earth? And that Christians are "grafted in" as the apostle Paul (a Jew) says in Romans 11? And the Sabbath was made for man (not just Jews)? And that the Lord of the Sabbath, Jesus Christ of course was a Jew himself? In these last days, the body of Christ must return to true Word of God for man shall not live by bread alone but by EVERY word that proceeds from the mouth of God!!

Someone posted a question about how atheists believe the world came to be, where did the big bang matter come from? So I have a question where did God come from, I believe the Bible offers no information on the origins of God, or do you believe he was just there like I do with the Big Bang gasses?

I don't have anything against any religion, I'm just wondering.

Is it only a coincidence that both were once alive, now are not, and yet will ascend out of a “???” during the last days?

Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, they whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.”

"During the last times, … The believers will find no shelter to seek refuge from these tortures and injustices. At such a time, God will raise from my progeny a man who will establish peace and justice on this earth in the same way as it had been filled with injustice and distress." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_Imam
