Is it only a coincidence that both were once alive, now are not, and yet will ascend out of a “???” during the last days?

Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, they whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.”

"During the last times, … The believers will find no shelter to seek refuge from these tortures and injustices. At such a time, God will raise from my progeny a man who will establish peace and justice on this earth in the same way as it had been filled with injustice and distress." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_Imam

Beast's in the bible represents governments. Rev 16;13 tells how these croaking frogs goes to all the governments of the world not just one or two. One frog is Satan, the other false religion, the other The wild beast or governments leaders of the world.
First this united government agency was the some kind of world court that went down during the world wars.
But it came back up as the United Nations.
something is going to cause the leaders of all the governments to turn everything over to the UN.
Then to stop the violence it is going to destroy false religion.
Before it is allowed to destroy the world the 16 verse says that God is going to destroy them. Only those called and faithful and true will survive this battle between the governments and God. It will be called Armageddon.
Look where it says in that chapter it is between the governments or kings of the whole world and God.
