Someone posted a question about how atheists believe the world came to be, where did the big bang matter come from? So I have a question where did God come from, I believe the Bible offers no information on the origins of God, or do you believe he was just there like I do with the Big Bang gasses?

I don't have anything against any religion, I'm just wondering.

honestly, i don't believe in the christian idea of god. so to answer your question i would have to say he was made up. and i'd like to give an explanation on the beginning of the universe to anyone who attributes a god-like reasoning behind it... do you really believe someone can go into the depth of something as complex as the beginning universe in the allotted space here. if you really want to know, go to college and take lots of physics and astrophysics classes. if it gets explained to you without the use of the word god, would you still claim he exists?

He is eternal. He dwells in timelessness, that is, outside the physical restraints of space-time. In the Bible, this is paraphrased in the term "the First and the Last".

"For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: 'I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit.'" - Isaiah 57:15

Who is the First and the Last? It is YHWH...

Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I YHWH, the first, and with the last; I am he.
Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

Who is the First and the Last? It is YHWH and His Redeemer

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the YHWH the King of Israel, and his redeemer the YHWH of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Who is the First and the Last? It is YHWH it is Yeshua, the Redeemer, the Almighty.

Re 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Re 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:
Re 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Re 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Re 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Re 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Gods are mixtures of previous gods, new invented gods and men, who's memory is trumpet up with going on clouds, water, smoke and fire.
The Egyptians had there Pharaohs, basically like royal parasites, like the Queen. The Greeks had Zeus, a horn-dog, with his encourage, which the Romans copied. I personally like Thor, god of most Germanic tribes and Vikings best. That was some dude. .

God is the One who created time so He isn't bound by it. He had no cause so He needed no beginning.

I'm waiting for all the answers that say "He always was," or "God does not obey the laws of physics."

God was birthed from the incubating womb of human ignorance and fear of mortality.
