Who prefers to have a choir with organ music (digital piano that produces organ sound counts also) at a catholic mass as opposed to guitars?

Guitars are awesome. Mass is boring enough before you go putting in organs

I would prefer organ. Not the least for being rigid and old fashioned (I'm only 25).

But because the organ is like the church in a way, where every member must work together for harmony. Every pipe has its role, from the greatest to the smallest, and has to complement and respect the other. If one pipe starts to go out of tune, the whole piece of music suffers. And the organist has to put everything into it for all to work - hands and both feet.

You can easily immitate the sound of any organ digitally, but you'll never be able to make the building tremble like an organ does. To feel the vibration of the pipes on wooden pews. And every tone vibrates differently. it gives a splendor to the whole place.

And just listen to any "fuga" from bach and you will see that at first the music starts off very dramatic. Then it slows down to a crawl, then it picks up momentum, becomes very complex and sophisticated, almost to the point of falling apart, but in the end a tune finally comes out, thanks to the organist's skills. Its a little bit like the history of the church too. no? The organist being God of course.
