Vedic astrology predicted solar and moon eclipse thousands of years before the invention of telescopes or modern science. Even today their predictions of eclipses are correct to milli-seconds...vedic astrology calculated correctly the speed of planets and stars, without the aid of modern scientifc instruments
Shaktaa path of hinduism tells the whole world is an illusion created by Mother shakti (Energy).... and it is in relative terms that we see matter, which has no real meaning besides energy......Doesnt Quantum physics prove that ??
Hinduism believes in evolution, it says we pass through 8.4 million species before becoming human.... Darwin has already proved that life evolves from lower forms to higher forms... even though Darwin's theory is incomplete, if we compare it to hinduism's theory of evoltuion
Hinduism first told, that plants do have life and souls.... quite later science proved that also
if we look carefully, science is actually proving hinduism step by step

Hey I know EXACTLY what You are talking about, and Where u r going !! ;)
All the beliefs and rituals in Hinduism are logical and can be backed up by Science. I totally Agree, Our Vedic Culture, Vedic Philosophy and Our Rishies were much more advanced and knowledgeable than we are Today.
but Since I don't know much about Bible, I won't say that its totally wrong or can't be proven scientifically. I wish I knew more about the Bible.
but, I know EXACTLY why you are asking these questions (i know what u r trying to prove) but I honsetly respect their religion and also consider Jesus as one of the incarnation of God, just like Raam and Krishana. Because, RAAM went to Jungle to show the people how to lead an ideal life, and KRISHANA did the same thing and explained to ARJUN his duties as a Human Being through BHAAGVAT GEETA, and JESUS did the same thing, showing people how to lead a better life.
So, We should also just respect the BIBLE, when we don't know much of whats written in it.
Peace....

The bible being full of nonsense is not the same as saying Jesus in not worth following. Hinduism has many strange looking dieties and things that are superfluous to existence too. Religions have a lot of distracting extraneous decoration in general. Keep the meat, toss the rest. That's my motto. Hinduism preceded Buddhism, and is therefore of value. It has beauty too and is important to those who follow it. It teaches compassion and to cause no harm. If we knew more about it, we'd probably find much to admire. Science is not the defining principle of all things. I do not worship science either. It is all so very interesting.

Science should never need to prove religion right or wrong. Religion is based on the fact that none of us regular folks have seen our God, but we still believe he/she/it exists.
Science can only prove that the stories that are told about the past actually happened and that is a good thing because it will really show people that what they were believing in wasn't just sucked out of somebody's thumb.

i accept the fact that science has accepted hinduism...
tell me, in Bible..hasnt it given that the world will come to an end when the lord-Jesus, will come to this world?
in the same manner its been in our Upanishads or the holy books..so i think every religion has the same base and almost same thinking and for ur fact hinduism is not a religion but an 'art of living' . now.and to this day its been regarded as religion..and u can c for eg. the ancient forefathers or maharshis meditated which is now also popular..in India and for ur fact people from far and wide come here and get their classes and u cannot discriminate between the religions..they are all same and are inter-related.

Science never proved the bible wrong. The bible does not put forth scientific theories. It predicts future events and talks about social issues and morality, not science. Hinduism (not that I know much about it) does the same. Science cannot prove what happens when we die so any theory remains valid and connot be disproved. My theory, we turn into purple monkeys and eat green monkeys. Science! prove me wrong!

I've never heard of science proving or attempting to prove Hinduism correct. Maybe you can post some links so we all know what you are talking about.

In your previous question 10 people chose science, 10 people chose the Bible or both. That is 50%. I hope you aren't behind the science attempting to prove the Bible wrong.

Its not just a question of hinduism or christianity.Svience has never proved anything in these religions in a crystal clear manner. So all that matters is faith. Its ur own personal choice. Why bother whether something in this or that religion has been scientifivally proven?
Well thats my opinion

As unfortunate as it is, science can't prove christianity wrong yet
It really isn't sciences problem though, since the burden of proof lies on the christians to prove themselves right first..
