I've read about 17 or 18 once. The KJV 1611 once and a half . The latest KJV Once. The Oxford Study off and on four. The New testament in 26 translations twice. But, I've tucked them in between other things during 60 or so years of religious studies.

I might say I am one of the few who have read the whole of the Bible as near as possible, because I've read the Catholic version with the Apocrypha, The Lost Books of The Bible, and the chunks translated from the Dead Sea Scrolls.

But, then, I've read other things like the Book of The Dead, The Satanic Bible, the Koran, The Book of Mormon, Most of the writings available for the study of Asatru and ........I'm tired of typing and remembering or walking over to the shelves, so if I missed someones please don't feel slighted.

Well, I've read the entire bible several times...about 7-9 times, however, I read in the Psalms & Proverbs everyday as well as bits from the old and new testament. The bible is the word of God and if you open your eyes, you'll see the truth that God is Love, Love is God, and He's not out to punish everybody. Once you see that having a relationship with Christ is a free-will choice, that He took your sin and shame on himself to the cross and died for you, and raised to glory is totally awesome! Anyways, I encourage you to seek your own relationship with God, and don't make the mistake of judging God by other people. He's personal. He comes to you where you are at. God bless you and have a great life!

I've read the Old Testament once and the New twice. I especially like the poetry and prose in the New Testament. I used to even go to cathecism classes, so it behooved me to have the book at least once.

I've also read some of the non-canonical stuff too.

Did you know this is in the Bible you read?

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only,
deceiving yourselves."--James 1:22

I read it daily as it's my inspiration and helps me deal with life's tough problems. I find solace in God's word. If not for his word many would be lost and without hope.

Do you know that satan knows scripture probably better than any living person? Merely reading it does nothing. One must have the spirit of God....to be able to discern the things of God.

What matters is, do you know the bible is the inspired word of God?
