People like to discredit the bible just because there are various versions of it. Well the original bible was written in the Hebrew language. Since then it was translated and we got the original king james version. since that one there are different versions like the New King james and the NIv and so on. Well why discredit the bible because of that? Those versions where to make people understand better every single bible out there no matter what version has the same meanings same msg's the words are just more simple so the english language can understand it better. It says in the bible that noone is to add nor remove anything from the bible. This has not been done. and if there was ever a version that did that a true christian would disregard it. Does anyone agree with me? And if your gonna post anything hateful please dont waste your time its ok for people to have diferent opinions but please dont be hateful

It offends me when people say that black people are stupid because evolution didn't give them any intelligence.

Why do atheists insist on using straw man arguments about Scripture that is taken out of the context in which it was written.

On the same note, why do you try to disprove the Christian faith with questions such as "A talking snake? How can you believe in that? Proof that God doesn't exist!"

That question is equivalent to a Christian stating "If we evolved from Monkeys then how come there are still Monkeys left?" to which many atheists rant about the stupidity of Christians. Do you not see how reciprocal the problem is?

So, here is my question, if you understand the futility of a lot of questions that Christians ask, why ask the same questions of us?

Do your religious leaders tell you it is good to be uncaring about other living creatures? Do they tell you be as greedy as you can because all your sins shall be foregiven? Do they tell you not to care about other living beings? Do they teach you to live out of harmony with nature? Do they tell you nature is evil? Was the Garden of Eden evil?

Those of you against genetic tampering in humans for religious reasons...is it ok in plants? Why?

my ex partner has TOLD me a woman i don't know WILL be godmother to my unborn daughter. as far as i kno this woman has never been christianed, and i've been told she doesn't even live in the UK. does this mean she cannot be godmother? sounds harsh but im hunting 4 a loophole so as 2 aviod yet another argument with him

ok in the shivering isle u have a quest to make another gate keeper, when i go to find the lady i notice she is torturing some victims she has traped at fist i thought she wasnt killing them, so i went in there and killed one with some arrows, then she comes along and revives him with a purple spell, where can i get that spell, if it even exists, i assume it has to bc she is useing it

My understanding of Buddhist history and culture shows that both are very God-laden, buddhists believe in the traditional Hindu Gods, and believe that with good karma one can be reborn as a God. Am I wrong in thinking this? Buddhists, please back me up or knock me down, thanks.

With restrictions on books and movies in the USA based on sexual content, adult content, and violence, why is the Bible excluded from an R rating - shouldn't it be illegal to expose underaged children to it? Is this not a double standard? The Bible is available on CD and DVD - kids don't have to read it anymore, thus it should be held to the same standards as "those evil heavy metal bands" or any Hollywood movie, should it not?

My pastor says that God hates homosexuals and that people who kill abortionist doctors are the "special forces" in God's Army.

He said that we are in a spiritual war with sinners and satan and that if it's OK to defend our country in war by killing the enemy, then it's OK to defend the innocent babies who are being killed.

He reads from the Old Testament a lot and it seems like he's right, I mean, God told people to kill all the time! In fact, God said to kill homosexuals and witches!

Are most Christians weak, because they do not live according to God's Word completely?

There is something simular about most religions.There are rules,regulations,rituals and sacrfices.People think they force their creators hand into heaven.I made myself rightous. In Christianity,it is a free gift.How can you top what Jesus' sacrfice?God himself came down and died for his children.How can a creation do better then the creator?It was impossiable for us to work our way in.But ir was possiable to him.

I was looking on a creationist website and came across an atheist website that was a "response" to the Creationist website. They were going down the line of evey creationist claim and showing how the Creationists were wrong.

My dad saw the site (He's our pastor) and told me to shut it off immediately, that I was only allowed to look at Christian websites.

I asked him what was wrong with looking at both sides of the debate and he said that the "Christian side was the ONLY side" and took away my internet priveledges for four days.

Well, what I had a chance to read seemed pretty convincing, and I want to know more. I just want to know the truth about creationism.

There are some good Christian Creationist sites, but the Atheist site was talking about things that weren't on the Creationist sites - things I've never heard before.

What should I do?
