12 get thumbs up and 3 get thumbs down, does that mean that some people on Yahoo Answers are on crack??

All Smurfs are blue, Papa Smurf was the only one that wore the color RED while the other smurfs wore white.

If the only thing that each answerer said was "blue", then there seems to be a problem.
If one of the answerer's added "because they have been holding their breath", he will get a thumbs down. He is being told that although he may have given a correct answer, he has added something that others don't agree with.

If I understand what you are really asking, some people will give people they dislike thumbs down no matter the answer.
Everyone will have the same answer, but three are people someone dislikes, they get thumbs down.
Is it fair ? No, but it is Yahoo !

People who ask what color Smurfs are are definitely on crack. People who answer are just looking for points. People who rank the answers are in a whole other universe with far too much time on their hands.

I really think there are folks on here who just like to give out thumbs down, without regard to the answer.
Or maybe it is because there is the presupposition of what the respondents stance is and they don't like that respondent so these people thumbs down everything.

The final 2 I choked went a sort of reddish purple. one survives, and recovered their blue color after approximately ten minutes. the 2nd did no longer, and slowly darkened to a gloomy purple aside from greenish purpleish bruising around their neck... wish this helps...

well they could have answered the Q and yet put something smart behind it leaving room for offensive takings...this would leave room for a thumbs down
