that would be one cruel joke.. since you either get a choice of living in a blissful but robotic state of joy or go to hell and exist in neverending torment. Life on earth already sucks but jeez.

I was once spiritually blind before I used certain entheogens. I dont believe in any particular religion still, but am spiritual. Unless u have taken certain entheogens....u would not understand the feeling. A feeling of complete 'oneness' with the universe. I truley believe psycheldelics are the key to the answers of the universe

Ok so we know that muslim women wearing the hijab in the west wear it by choice . But there are still some islamic countries that have made laws enforcing hijab. I saw a question about a British woman forced to wear hijab in Iran and everyone saw that as degrading to her. Someone answered that the iranian women should be forced to wear bikinis and photographed like that. The whole point of the anger people were feeling was that the woman was forced to do something she did not want to and they felt the cloth on her head was a sign of submission to the men. But what is worst forcing a woman to cover or forcing her to uncover?

Would he be disappointed in his own creation, why? What are some things he'd want to do now that he's on earth? Use your imagination, what would God be like, what would he do, would he be different from us, how etc...

When I was a senior in high school, I had to make a time line of my life. I said that in 1996 I would have a son, in 1998 I would have a second son and in 2000 I would have identical twin daughters. What really happened was that in 1994 I had a son, in 1996 I had a son and in 2001 I had identical twin daughters. I don't think I psychic or anything but this was weird, expecially since I had forgotten all about until I found after I had the twins. Do you think I somehow knew my future, or was it just a coincedence?

A scientific theory for the original energy source for the "Big Bang" is totally lacking. What event pulled the trigger to start the Big Bang? Did the universe reach a critical energy or critical mass level that started the event? The ignition that supposedly started the Big Bang is devoid of science. There aren't any serious attempts to explain it because no explanation is possible. So for you who belive the Big Bang is possible, please give me your explanation.

What's going on, really? I'm a Christian, and I honestly have no problem with the theory of evolution. The Bible did not specifically say HOW the world was created, just that it was. So what is everyone offended about? Why is there all this fighting over the subject? No one is convincing anybody else, just saying hurtful things to each other. There are some things in the Bible that are to be taken metaphorically and not literally. Think about it: the Bible says the world was created in seven days. God said (in the bible of course), "Millions of years are like a day to me." We might be talking about 'God-days' here, and not the human concept of a day. So what is the problem? And the fact that we (humans) all evolved from a common ancestor? Of course! Eve! Didn't God create the animals first, then the humans? So why can't it be a possibility that He presided over evolution?

I just read an answer that "global warming was a sign of the times", and there was really nothing that we could do about it.

If this is the case, why do we interfere in anything? After all, around the end-times, the bible tells us that there will be wars and that lots of people will die.

That being said, why do we even fight a war on terror? If death and war is inevitable, why should we try to thwart the terrorists? Why don't we just let *god* handle everything, as he obviously has a plan? Why spend money and resources preventing terrorist attacks, because if we're meant to be the victim of something large-scale and nuclear, its going to happen anyway?

Obviously, I don't really feel this way. But I don't understand the logic. Why just accept that some things are in god's hands and then try to prevent others? And if christians support the war on terror, does this mean they aren't trusting enough in god?

People say that the Big Bang is SUPPOSED to disprove everything said by the Bible. Especially the Genesis chapter. So can you answer my question. Science says their is an end to the universe. If so what is on the other side. Also if teh Big Bang is supposed to have a time line, what was it like 1 year before the Big Bang. And if you say nothing, you better have agood explanation on what nothing is.

Recently, I have been able to feel the magnitude of parental sadness that our Lord is feeling regarding the magnitude of people, His children, that are ignoring Him. I can actually understand Him and literally feel how much He is hurting.
Can anyone relate or at least understand what I'm trying to say?

Since most Christians claim God is nothing like a human being and has no gender as we know it, why do you insist on calling God a him? Why not a her? Or to be correct using the English language, God should be an IT.
