OK, let's try and put a different spin on this, and by the way, I gave this question a star.......as much for the answers, so far, as the question itself....brilliant !
There is no 'Force' in this, or any other 'Universe' greater than you. We, humans, all are endowed with exactly the same amount of 'power' as everyone else.
There is no disembodied 'evil', every single undesirable result that we observe is the result of someone, or some ones, creative efforts.
If you are experiencing the feeling that some force has taken you over, then there are only two explanations that make any scientific sense whatsoever.
1. You are doing it yourself...............or
2. You gave away your 'power' to someone or some ones else.
In either case, all you need to do is to reclaim your personal sovreignty, and your power, and all will be restored to your default settings.
We all tend to 'give it away', this is the one single reason why there is hunger, war, pestilience and need in the world. It is why there are farcical differentials between the rich and the poor. The 'Thieves' steal, and we give it away.
No evil 'Force', just the 'Dark Side' of human nature.

If you are not a Christian, I can assure you some evil force holds sway over you. If you are not under the authority of Christ, you are under the authority of Satan. It is probably just a demon spirit, or perhaps you are under a curse. Lots of possibilities.
