Recently, I have been able to feel the magnitude of parental sadness that our Lord is feeling regarding the magnitude of people, His children, that are ignoring Him. I can actually understand Him and literally feel how much He is hurting.
Can anyone relate or at least understand what I'm trying to say?

Two things:

ONE - I am NOT speaking of His physical pain when He died for our sins. I am speaking of His emotional, parental pain and concern for His children

TWO- Yvonne hit the nail right on the head.

I would also like to point out that several of you are contributing to His pain by answering the way you did, and you can be assured that I will pray for you.

yes, me, people are told and shown is so many different ways, but still they choose to do things their way. It brings devastation to families and all sorts of people. I only came to really know jesus in the last ten years, i am still living the consequences of a life without him. I constantly pray for members of my family who still deny him, and i see the difficulties they face daily. I love them dearly as their mum, but his love is so much more, so if it hurts me, well, it must hurt him so much more.

I don't think I can ever feel the magnitude of Christs sadness. But I don't think he feels sadness now, I think he bore that on the cross. He knew then what would be happening now. I am not sure I can understand what your saying unless, its more like the huge amount of non believers that saddens you. But they only have to be told 1 time, that's it. Every time they read, one of our posts that says Jesus is Lord, he died for you, then they have been witnessed to. When they stand before God they will be reminded of each time they were witnessed too, and denied Christ. So maybe that's what your feeling, the sadness that so many are rejecting him. Don't do that to yourself. You only are required to wittiness, its up to them to except.

So who is more pain? The woman being tortured and raped by a sadistic killer? Or Jesus because the killer didn't go to church that week?

You have a warped sense of value. There is so much pain right here on earth. And you're worried about an imaginary figure and his imaginary feelings.

Yes, I understand what you are saying. You are obviously very sensitive, and this is a good trait to have. Use this for a good purpose! Remember the feeling when you yourself are tempted to do or say something that would hurt the Lord, to keep you from doing wrong. And have compassion on those who are doing wrong, longing for them to instead choose right.

You are sublimating man's pain in the form of God's. How in the hell can you begin to fathom the pain of Jesus. Do you really think he is still in pain even if he was a real person?

Why in the world would a religious leader want you to feel pain 2,000 years after he died? That just sounds sadistic.

Ermm, how come jesus have children or a father?won't saying that make him lose his divinity? How come a divine being have a father or child?just ridiculous. Wont that make him just human?

Think about it.

Jesus is human. Not Divine.

No, if there is a god, it's obviously pretty apathetic to the goings on of earth- I mean, it's obvious to me.
