What's wrong is that Easter was stolen from the Pagans by the Catholic church to begin with.
The bunny is attributed to Eostre, the goddess of fertility. So, the easter bunny came first. He should be the one screaming, "give me back my holy day!" or at least SHE should.
Edit: Do I really have to go into the whole Council of Nicea, marrying gnostic judaism with paganism to unite the roman empire thing in order to be right? ;)

Easter is stolen from a Saxon Pagon festival dedicated to Eostre the goddess of fertility.

The early English Christians bastardised the name to give a name to their own festival which fell at the same sort of time of year.

The bunny is also bastardised from the hare which was sacred to Eostre and also many other Pagan faiths.

Nothing is wrong with it. It is just saying that Easter is not about an Easter bunny but it's about celebrating Jesus Christ and his ressurection.
