In order to spread God's word, you must FIRST spread His love.
Only God can judge! Treat others as you wish to be treated back!
Only he that is without sin should cast the first stone.
Love and Be Loved,

When I was in hospital recently, a gay male nurse looked after me and a kinder person would be hard to find.
He spoke to me about heaven and a lot of spiritual things. This man was a good person, I have been in hospital a lot and I have met this man before. So who gave you the right to call anyone an Abomination. Have you never heard the saying do not judge lest you be judged. Go and grow up.

You need to put more love in your heart. You are to spread the gospel of Christ and not call people names. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. We are to hate the sin but love the sinner. We were once sinners and we didn't like the scriptures either because we didn't understand.
They don't understand and some may never understand and we can do nothing about it. Christ brings the sinner to Him.
Don't offend and don't let anyone offend you.

You called him an abomination and you're wondering why he got mad? Wow.
I would go on a tangent about how not everyone believes in the things your book says and how people like you only help to breed more ignorance, hatred, and bigotry, but you know what...I won't bother. I'm betting it'd go over your head anyway.

Dude, the wisdom of God is foolishness to the world, why are you telling him something he's not ready for? You have to do this out of love, you are to approach your brother out of love, he's a stranger, you were out of context. Be really careful how you say things to people. Do all out of love not because it's your duty to spread the scriptures. This is why he got mad at you, because you barely know him and you're already telling him how to live his life. Get to know him first, love him with Christ's love then when he sees you are sincere, lead him to Christ. If God changes his heart then the external sins will change. You can't try and change people from the outside, you can't change their behavior; you can't change anything, only God can. Any time you spread the scriptures remember, do so with the utmost sincerity and love. We're trying to lead people to God, not turn them away.

he's not an abomination, you are! you can't go and tell a gay man that he's going to hell just because he doesn't follow the book of BS. they already live a hard enough life with people not accepting gays in society, they don't need another opinion on the matter.

Sometimes it's the way we spread the scriptures. It was intended to heal the hurting and to forgive the sinful to show redemption in Christ.
When you judge someone you take God's position and that is dangerous place for you to be in spiritually.
"Judge not lest ye be judged". Tell them what God says not what you said, leave the rest to God.

No, what you are trying to do is spread hate.
Wouldn't you get upset if I were to walk up to you and tell you that you are an abomination? How would that make you feel?

I would get mad too if you judged me and not my sins. By the way, check your scriptures. You'll see that only actions are considered abominations before God, not the people made in his image and likeness (even if they obscure that image and likeness by sin).

I think what the man may not be able to accept is your lack of tolerance. Try spreading some love and respect for the beliefs and viewpoints of others for a change.

God is love...He does not say heaven is just for certain people...or that He died only for the heterosexuals. He died for everyone...and He says ..."for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"....that includes you and me. Being gay is not a sin, the act of homosexuality is the sin. Acting on it, just like adultery is a sin...and being judgemental is a sin...and lying is a sin...no sin is "bigger" than another according to God. The mass murderer on death row can be forgiven and enter the gates of heaven, just as this gay man can...and as can a judgemental person can.
