Think about; you either accept the Bible about creation or you have to believe in Darwin, right? What else is there?

I believe Darwin existed if that is what you mean. I don't have any gods.

You seem to have no modicum of understanding what it is to be FREE of a belief...Oddly enough, there are people in the world who are NOT obsessively rushing around to latch on to something that "passes" for religion, or a " god" or a "savior " or an "avatar".
Regarding "What else is there", well, there are many things to believe in besides the bible and/or evolution--- it's just that
evolution is real and angel stories are not-- magic is not--
You should take a look at all the many religions there are in the world and all the bizarre things people believe in--
like voodoo, santeria; then there are earth pagans. What about Buddhists-- and there are many sects of Buddhists--
also Hindus, Taoists, etc.
And for the record, I doubt that anyone but you imagines Darwin to be a god-- on my planet Darwin was a scientist.

Darwin was just a scientist who observed and studied how species developed. He put it all in a book called 'the origin of species'. That basis lead to many others studying the ideas formulated in that book.

This does not lead to him being a god

Human created religions to explain how we evolved, create a meaning to life, to explain the world and the universe, to lay down social rules, develop a central focus for people and to control the populous. This is why the Roman Emperors spread Christianity.

We now have science to do the explain in a factual form not mythical form. So there is no need for religions to do that any more.

Evolution is not something one belivieves in. It is a fact. just like the world is a sphere or that we are held to the earth by gravilty.

Someone is past due for their meds tonight! Darwin was a real man, there is no need for belief, his existence is a fact. What you mean is that we have to believe what Darwin said. Most people of non-Christian faith believe in Natural Selection (wich is all that Darwin researched) and most Christians believe in it but not as the origin of life. Evolution incorporates natural selection but a lot of other things too. There are many non-Christians who don't believe in evolution and many more who do. They aren't mutually exclusive but if you need to see it that way, you will learn nothing here.

Again this old useless and tiring conflict!
Evolution is just the tool God has chosen for the Creation, which is not a single event in time but a continuous process.
Every religion has its mythology and its folklore. Most of the things written in the holy books are symbolic, written to be understood by the cultural and scientific level existing thousands of years ago.
Many conflicts have been originated because of taking those stories literally.

Well, while we're on the topic of "thinking about it," let's do some actual thinking.

If someone doesn't believe in God, why would they believe Darwin to be a god?

One doesn't "believe in Darwin," one looks at the evidence and makes an informed decision about evolution.

If you don't believe in God, then how do you accept someone else as God? No one has to believe in Darwin, or God.

Believing in a mortal man's theory doesn't mean you worship Him as a God. Why does there have to be a God. You can actually see new life forms being created in deep sea volcanoes right now. I feel very sorry for you that you cannot simply live your life without worrying about who to worship. People are dying everyday, life is sooo short. Just get on with it!

The simple fact is most Christians believe in God---AND evolution--The Catholic church has accepted the facts proving evolution --so there is 1 billion Christians for a start--the truth is it's only a very small minority of stubborn, vocal, Christian fundamentalists that keep bleating on & on about creationism --& their numbers are dwindling--soon they'll have to start their own club--as the Flat Earth Society has done.

Charles Darwin isn't a god he's a human being. You're logic is deeply flawed and therefore illogical. Prove that god truly exists. I think you might find it pretty difficult to prove a negative.
