We are a group of Christians Warriers from different countries and denomonations, and we would be happy to stand united in Christ and pray for you or someone else you know who needs prayer.
And we love you in Christ.

I say that God is too paradoxical and incomplete to explain the world. Why would God grant prayers for us at the expense of others? Why would God favor "the good" over "the bad." How can God be both destructive and loving at the same time? How could God let there be evil in this world? If God existed and gave all of us free will, then why can we not do whatever we want? In other words, God put limitations on our free will. Why did God not restrict our free will even further? Why would God care if little ants like we (not us) believed in God? Is God so self-contradictory that God expects us to be modest while God demands that we praise and worship God?

Matthew 7: 13-14,
13. Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering it.
14. But the gate is narrow and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are they who find it.

Or is it too blasphemous to even think about their not being a god?

Would god send you to hell just because you answered a question that required "supposing there was no god" type of question?

Do you have to totally close your mind off to that possibility? And if so, does it bother you to be.. by definition, close minded.

Thoughts?

This question goes out to all the Christians out there who constantly post variants of Pascal’s wager asking what do you have to loose if you worship God. Keep in mind this is purely a hypothetical question.

Say after you die you realize there is an afterlife, but hold on, it’s not the one you had expected. You find yourself in the presence of the Egyptian God of the Dead, Anubis. He’s about to weigh your heart against the weight of a feather. This will decide your fate in the afterworld. What say you? What would be your reaction if you found out that you had picked the wrong God? Is your heart as light as a feather?

It's raining right now, storming actually, and spiritually, I love it. I have ever since I was a small child. I have no read anything about this in Islam (honestly, I didn't look). So why do I love it when I see, hear, and sometimes even smell the rain pounding on the windows? Why am I in such a creative mood that I will literally stop cleaning my home (not that it's dirty, just a load of dishes or laundry), grab whatever project I'm working on, and start to crochet?

1) Legislators in MI who refuse to pass a bill that would help make school a safe learning environment for all students because of the inclusion of sexual orientation.

2) Voters deciding to strip fellow citizens of their Constitutional rights as Americans.

3) James Dobson, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Bill O'Reilly, Michael Medved, Michael Savage, and a plethora of other talking heads using their bully pulpits to demonize fellow human beings.

4) Fred Phleps and family calling for the death of all GLBT citizens.

5) The Pope condemning millions of G*d's children, those created in his image.

6) Legislators in AK attempting to pass a bill to ban same-sex couples from adopting/fostering while thousands of children languish in the child services system.

7) Mark Thompson - president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes - shouting "F***ing F***got!" at my son on a daily basis.

This is how you live Christ? His love? By consciously hurting others?

Why I walked away.

Okay let me try another one.
1. In human creation (houses, watches, etc) we find the adaptation of means to ends that are the result of design, thought, wisdom, and intelligence.
2. In nature we find similar adapting of means to ends, but on a much grander scale
3. From similar effects we may infer similar causes
4. So it must be the case that the magnificent mechanism of the universe is the result of a very great, wise, intelligent designer.

I came across a jehovah's witness and she wanted me to visit her hall. I didn't refuse but I told her that I'm a Christian and already have a ministry in process that I would like her to visit. So I asked her since we both believe in Christ why don't we fellowship together by phone because I want to know more about your belief and I want to share mine. She ignored the fact that I was willing to share my belief and said "Well Im going to bring another partner of mine to talk to you further about our faith" in a nice but phony way. Why are we so stubborn in our beliefs? Why can't we just share each others thoughts and opinions without misunderstanding?
