I have read a good portion of the Book of Enoch and I do no believe it is inspired in its entirety, however one must acknowledge that at least a portion of the Book is accepted as being a true and reliable account, inasmuch as a portion of it is quoted by Jude in his letter, as is also a portion of the Assumption of Moses. I found some interesting things in the Book of Enoch, but much of it seemed to be rather obscure and rambling.
It might be noted that certain secular authors are also cited by Paul, namely Aratus in Acts Chapter 17 and Epimenides in Titus chapter 1. I don't think anyone would construe this to mean that Paul felt these men were divinely inspired.

The Jews Thought so I don't believe anything is. Book of Enoch is just one mans glimpse of heaven. To understand Christianity you must read all the historical accounts of the Bible including Maccabees and the Gospel of Judas. All deserve equal weight as the Bible. All contemporaries of the Bible and all were considered inspired by Jews and early Christians in fact the early Christians had a very different view of Christ than the church has today. Back then there was 2 divisions among Christians unfortunately the most hateful and closed minded view won out. Read it. Enjoy it. It will help you to understand the Bible better.

Protestants don't believe it is inspired by God.

That's why it was taken out.

Others taken out are
1 Maccabees
2 Maccabees
Sirach
Wisdom
And others I'm not sure of.
