In being humble, you DO embrace your inner greatness, and recognize that others are capable of just as much greatness.

There is a danger in being humble just for the sake of being humble, but honest humility leads to love of your fellow man, and that's never a bad thing, no matter your beliefs.

*(Humble) ... Luke 14 :11.. For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased ; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.. *(Virtue)... Philippians 4 : 8 .. Finally , brethren , whatsoever things are true , whatsoever things are honest , whatsoever things are just , whatsoever things are pure , whatsoever things are lovely , whatsoever things are of good report ; if there be any virtue , and if there any praise , think on these things.. * ( Fool ) ...Ephesians 5 : 15... See then that ye walk circumspectly , not as fools , but as wise ..*** So , the answer to your question is NO. As you see here ; a fool cannot be humble , nor can a fool have virtue , because you must have Wisdom to be Humble and have Virtue . A Fool does not posess Wisdom....................

Humbleness is truly a great virtue and I believe is where the foundation of our inner greatness is built.
Humbleness should be practiced every day. It is our inner compass of who we are and where we are going to.
Peace be with you!

Self-glorification often leads to self-pity. Humility does not mean accepting that others are greater than you. It just means trying to view others as being the same as you, in need of work. Most people I've known with bloated egos regularly crash into wallowing self-esteem problems and seemed to exalt themselves artificially. I've seen one or two Gemini do this really well, without the crashes. You can be great, powerful, and an awesome person without having yourself on a pedestal, your head in the clouds, and teetering on the edge of an identity crisis. Humility works, when it comes to a stable place.

Being humble just shows how great you are in the inside.

Strong enough to be yourself without caring for what others say.

It's a virtue that I highly respect.

Peace.

You be humble as a courtesy to others who are not as great. It helps smooth everything out.

i think a great man, with humble sentiment, is an exceptional man.
arrogance, and narcissism is nothing to be proud of in my opinion. in fact others will only think less of you.
personally i'd like to be remembered as a man of the people, not a man who serviced only himself.
