He tabby not all Christians blame the devil for everything. most of the stuff the people blame on the devil is a test of faith from God.

Whats wrong with some of you guys?
I mean i had to stop reading this half way through to through up cause i was so disgusted. I mean if atheists say that science explains everything. Then they should know that all these problems aren't even about religion its about resources power and greed. Like the crusades weren't really about reclaiming the holy lands it was about money. Even if you don't believe in God you have to admit to this "money is the root of all evil."

Probably for the same reason as theists keep dumping all the world's problems on lack of religion. Apparantly all the world's problems come from us not following x religion to the fullest.
Personally I think it's PEOPLE who cause most of the world's problems. They just use various excuses to justify their actions or blame things on somebody else. It's easier to point the finger than to admit that you're a part of the problem. Religion is something that people fight about and kill each other over every day. Everyone thinks their religion is right and all the others are wrong and people are often so passionate about their beliefs that they wage wars over religious differences, to spread their religion or glorify their God. That's how religion is a problem. The root of the problem is people, but the fuel on the fire is very often religion.

Religion doesn't cause ALL the world's problems, and I think that atheists who "dump" all the world's problems on religion simply do so to place blame on a group of people they don't like. Not all atheists do this, of course. But those who do are demonstrating the same mind set of the religious people who blame all the world's problems on sinners, infidels, liberals, homosexuals, whatever else.
Religion does undeniably cause some problems in the world. However, as humans, we would find a reason to cause problems one way or another, with or without religion. If everyone was an atheist, we'd probably still fight over which scientific theory was the best and most accurate one. Don't think so? Just look at all the atheists on here that spew the same kind of evangelical-style statements that Christians do, only directed at the inferior thinking of religious people.

The same reason why theists keep dumping all the world's problems on evil. What I'm saying is don't generalize a whole group of people. You can't blame the world's problems on religion or evil the only thing to blame is the human race as in everyone can be a part of the problem. Human nature.

Religion can cause problems and has. But more it is one of many justifications for the problems, of course there are many other justifications too. The problems would still be here just under a different catch phrase.
The dumping really just shows lack of knowledge and understanding of geopolitical and societal problems and little foresight on their parts. Looking for an easy answer so they can sleep righteously at night, which ironically is what they accuse the religious of doing to.
We live in a shallow, shortsighted world and this is proof most (religious or not) fall prey to it.
EDIT: I came back to check some answers and saw your edit I have to take exception with you. Tabby is correct most people do try to get out of bad things by saying it is Satan's fault (stupid shallow answer but that is what people do) BUT your answer a test from God. God does not do that!!! God does not test us like that, smit and strike at anyone, let alone some and not others! That is not the God of any of religion!!! It is a gross mischaracterization!!! (and admittedly one that hawks me off).
Lets put the blame where it belongs we live in a world where things happen, where people can be mean cruel and insensitive. We destroy each other and our world. So people get sick, have accidents are victims of terrible things. This is not God or Satans making but ours by our actions or or apathy!

all the different religions that are in this world today can cause alot of problems between people..All religions has their own way of believing and if you don't believe the way religion or the people think you should then it does cause problems..and because of that, the ones who are seeking God see the many different religions and honestly don't want nothing to do with it..I, myself am not into religion, as you can tell I have not much nice things to say about it, I believe God and religion are 2 different subjects..alot of religions are made man and God isn't..A training I went through years ago, said that God hates religion and I really think He does, cause it has caused alot of problems...Believe in God is what is important not religion(s)..

The atheists who "dump" as opposed to those who simply don't believe, have a love/hate relationship with religion. They seem to be stuggling with something within themselves.
As for religion causing problems, you could say the same thing about atheism causing problems. The greatest number of people to die of government-sponsored actions in the past century died as a result of the enforcement of communism's atheist ideology or as a result of the mainly atheistic or at least hostile-to-organized-religion Nazis.

Oh, no, religion doesn't cause problems. Just ask the Irish.
Anyway, it's not like it is the root cause of all the world's problems but if we could stop fighting and killing over imaginary gods that would really help.
