Well, you cant really worship Jesus and not God. They are sort of one being. I don't know how you could worship the son of God but not God at the same time. And no Jesus will not be upset at you as long as you believe in him. At least you worship.

We should worship God in the name of Jesus. Just like when we pray it is in the name of Jesus. the bible says that the only way to the Father is through the son. I don't think God would get mad. You have to better understanding of the loving God that we serve. God Bless you!

Some of these anwers are funny.

One guy mentions a God head????

Yes, you are only supposed to worship one God, the father and creater of the universe.

According to the bible his name is Yahweh or Jehovah.

Him alone is the true God.

Jesus is God's son and creation. God Jehovah sent Jesus to earth to die as a perfect being to erase what Adam did. Jehovah has made Jesus King of the Earth. Soon Jehovah will send Jesus to end this system of things.

We only supposed to pray to Jehovah and ask in Jesus name since Through Jesus we are saved.

EDIT:

Wow, it is sad to see so many people lost.

They refer to the Trinity, God head, etc....none of these things appear in the bible. They are all Pagan beliefs.

Jesus said he and the father where "one" the same as Jesus and his apostles where "one". It does not mean they are the same persona, just on the same side of things.

Some people twist these verses to create Trinity that was created by Pagans.

Yes! And so will Jesus. Here's why:

When Satan was tempting Jesus as recorded at Matthew chapter 4, Satan offered to give Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if he would do an act of worship to him. Jesus adamantly refused! He said: "Go way, Satan! For it is written, "It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service"."

Revelation 4:11 says: "You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created." So Jehovah God created all things and he deserves the worship and honor. Of course, He is pleased when we honor His Son, Jesus Christ, whom He loves so much and who proved completely faithful to Him.

Our worship should go to our Creator. Angels are not to be worshipped either. When John was writing Revelation, he was so moved by the visions he was priviledged to see that he bowed to the angel that God was using to bring this vision to John, but the angel showed that it is wrong to give worship to angels. This is recorded at Revelation 19:10. It says: "At that I fell down before his feet to worship him. But he tells me: "Be careful! Do not do that! All I am is a fellow slave of you and your brothers who have the work of witnessing to Jesus. Worship God;..."

So even the angels know that we must worship God only. And the reaction of the angel saying "Be careful! Do not do that!" showed the seriousness of doing such a thing, worshipping someone or something else other than God.

(Some believe that Jesus and Jehovah God are the same person, however the Bible teaches different. Even Jesus himself showed that he and God are seperate persons. He said at John 5:30 "I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgement that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me." If Jesus was God, that would not have made sense what he said there in the Bible book of John. But he explained that he does his father's will, and he cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, showing that his power came from his father: Jehovah God.)

No.

Most Christians believe in the Holy Trinity.

The doctrine of the Holy Trinity in which the one true God is made up of three separate but equal persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

This belief is shared by most Christian denominations including Roman and Orthodox Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and Episcopalians.

Some non-trinitarian religions like Islam occasionally accuse Trinitarians of polytheism.

With love in Christ.

What difference does it make whether you worship God or worship God who was and is Jesus, they are the same God.

Understand that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one. It is called the Trinity. God only wants you to worship him at your own will. If you don't want to go and live in heaven with him, fine; but if you want to go and live eternally with the coolest and most creative person ever, love him (the trinity) Understand, my friend =)

Jesus is God. If you worship Jesus you are also worshipping the Father and the Godhead.

"He that has seen me,has seen the Father"

Yeah, the Bible says "Worship the Lord God almighty with all your heart soul mind and strength." That goes for all three in the Godhead. Father, Son and Ghost should be worshipped.

Jesus made no reputation of Himself. He always referred to the Father, and He was doing His Father' will. The Lord's Prayer is also in honor of God, and not Jesus. Jesus is our mediator between us and God.
