when he himself says he is the son of God? Most everyone who's religious say Jesus was one of the greatest prophets, teachers, influences in the history of the world wether they be Christian or not. How could you think that he was just a great man if most of his own teachings were about being son of god and the savior?

How is it that Religious groups JWs especially come round to my door expecting me to have an open mind and consider what they are saying when they have absolutely no intention of even tacking the first step towards considering something other than what is written in their little books. Prov 26:12

After studying this unexplored and highly mysterious world of unknown... what do you think about the psyche of Space Science's students? How do they react to the marvels and highly balanced charisma of the objects of the Universe?

Share your matured views and observations.

Please don't get me wrong by this post. He is a man of God. However everything someone says to him, he has a scripture for it! It has become ridiculous. I think that there is a time and place for everything. Everyone doesn't take kindly to things like that.

mark 12:29 kjv. "AND JESUS ANSWERED HIM, THE FIRST OF ALL COMMANDMENTS IS ISRAEL; THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD"
in Islam we take the first commandment to mankind very seriously(at least the Good Muslims do, Good Muslim can't help what hypocrites of Islam do.) but Allah .SWT. told ALL mankind to worship no other but him. and people still give Allah SWT partnet after He had told ALL mankind not to...just because the Christians and Catholics have in their book not to worship nothing but God (and Jews) doesn't mean that we as Muslims don't have to follow the same commandments. we have to honor or parents too, WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO KILL EITHER. try telling this to the terrorists and i might get shot. however. we as Muslim give worship to Allah SWT only AS ONE. and think of it this way. IF WE WERE SUPPOSED TO WORSHIP JESUS.PBUH. THEN WHEN HAS JESUS EVER SAID "BOW DOWN AND GIVE ME PRAISE!" or "I AM GOD" no he says there is no God but God and we Muslims feel the same way as Jesus..to be con't

My four year old son is raised catholic and I want to take him to a cedar at a shul in New York that would be entertaining and interesting that he would enjoy. Anyone have any suggestions? Would love the complete meal/service etc. if you know of any thing like this.

What would you think if you have been praying for job assistance from the Lord for the past 3-4 years and still no "doors" have open. I've been doing my part by sending resumes and going on interviews, and still nothing! I really just don't know what to do anymore. I will continue to look and send resumes, but if still nothing opens for me; what does this mean? Does God not want me to work? How should I interpret this? Please no disrespectful comments on God and prayers. Christian type answers only.

Just the fact that "God created the heavens and the earth in six days" should be a turnoff from religion because the earth wasn't created in six days. I started reading the bible the other day, and this fact has thrown me off believing. Now, when people start saying that to God one day might be millions of years it's just like they're trying to desperately do whatever they can because they really WANT to believe. I want to believe to, but I feel silly. If a person wants to believe no one is ever going to change their mind, I know..... , but shouldn't this fact be like a turn off from believing in the Christian God? I don' t know, lately I've really been wanting to believe but I just dunno......

But do any of you have any... proof that such a place exists?
Or even any evidence.

For the record, quotes from an outdated book of bronze-age jewish mythology does NOT count as proof or evidence.
Just so you know.

Now with that important fact out of the way can anyone provide any credible (remember that word, it's important too) evidence that supports this hell place you christians keep threatening people with?

I love my husband but, we have some serious issues, he refuses to discuss and counsleing is out of the question...I can lean only on God. What do some of you Christian's out there think?

I have dealt with very very deep, involved, entangled confusion for many years about the subject of Tithing. I am so tired of being confused. Please, someone tell me the truth according to the Bible and to God's love. Please enlighten me.

You see, I am an out of work paralegal, and I live with my parents. I am 32 years of age. I am receiving SSDI for OCD. I get less than 700 dollars per month in the form of SSDI payments.

My car needs 1200 dollars worth of repairs. Our clothes dryer is busted, and we require a new one. My Mom is also disabled and out of work, due to Carpal tunnel syndrome. Our only sources of income are my step dad and myself- and combined, we earn less than 2K per month, and we are a three person family. Our rent is 850.

I have been failing to pay my tithes recently, and I am confused. What should I do? Should I give God ten percent of my meager income, and just expect that he will provide food on the table?

Or, is this foolish? Should I spend it on food?

I would like to think that people log onto "Yahoo answers" in hopes in finding answers to their own questions and maybe answer afew as well.

"Why is it" that when I (as well as others I have noticed) I ask a question MOST not all, but MOST of the reponses that I get are HATEFUL and IGNORANT? Sometimes not even on topic.
I know that there are some that log on and ask questions to boast about their knowledge or whatever but..... I just don't get it. Are we MOSTLY adults here? Well, it doesnt look like it.
Half the time it's from people who feel threatened and don't know how to make a stand in what it is they believe in. Or are unwilling to see a differant point of view.
Not allways, I get some really good answers here.
Maybe Yahoo should have (just an idea here...) Q.P.P. -Question Police Patrols and send messages to those who are acting "hateful".
It just gets ridiculious sometimes.
What say you???
