yes.
There's the 40 days in the dessert.
There are also some authors who speculate that Jesus had contact with other types of spirituality and have learned something from them, including how they meditate. I read it somewhere when I got a hold of a book that talks about Gnostics scriptures, dead sea scrolls and a group called the Essene. I forgot the name of the book, but I see a lot of information on the internet about these topics.
Anyway, prayer (and we are sure that Jesus prays) is a form of meditation. Therefore the answer is yes.

Well the story goes that he is the genetic offspring of both God and Mary (sorry Joseph) he has some part of his DNA that is the same as his Dad's. Kids always wonder about their dads, and sons and fathers often have issues in their relationships to work out.
He probably had personality and physical traits like God, just as my Son and Grandson exhibit some of mine. But in the end, when he went back to his father's house, there must have been a mutual understanding.

Jesus spent 40 days in the desert focusing and meditating on God the Father.
A great example for us.

I absolutely believe this. Jesus did not have all knowledge. He had to learn about God and life just like everyone else did. Just because his inner nature gave him aid in doing so, does not mean that he didn't have to work for it like the rest of us. Blessings in the Light of Christ!

yes, there are many recorded instances in the bible where jesus goes off to pray. and when he was in the garden of gesthemane, before he died, he was so intently praying to God that he sweat blood. i don't think he needed to realize more about God, but, just to stay focused on the job he needed to do, and to sustain his spirit.
blessings!

Wasn't there something about 40 days and 40 nights in a desert? What do you suppose he was doing out there, digging for oil?

Or course, there is no other way. To be as one is, is to know who you are, in this sacred place beliefs are laid down, and the light of ones self shines. But you know this.
