Christ said in Mathew 4:17 "Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is near. "How do you repent? Do you reject your old concept of beliefs or ideologies and accept Christ as your personal savior? Or do you reject your old habits and start doing good work and deeds after accepting Christ so that you may inherit the Kingdom of God?

I know I would.

No more wars, no more lies, no more intolerance, no more bloodshed, no more confusion, no more hatred, no more hypocrisy..........

I don't know how anyone could not.

What if you were a Christian, but the person you wanted to date/marry was an atheist? What would you do? If you didn't have a very strong faith and wanted to date/marry an atheist, would you risk weakening your faith even more? How would this effect you and your partner?

Could that be because, in the words of the alien in the movie "Enemy Mine" (if you haven't watched it, you ought to), Truth is Truth?
If Jesus is Who He says He is, He's been around since before the beginning of time. Why wouldn't there have been traces of the truth all over the place?
The coming of God as Man to the earth (and perhaps to every inhabited planet in the universe?) was such a huge event that the entire world marks time from that event. (Yeah, BC and ACE, did I hear a snicker in the audience?)
In fact, it was such an amazingly tremendous event that the destiny of all living things everywhere is changed....

....

Forever.

The Pope recently made a statement in which he reminded people of the 'reality of Hell', and described it as an 'inferno' with the Devil, the lake of fire, the lot.

On the other hand, the Church of England claims that Hell is a 'dull, grey place', where people suffer from seperation from God, not a lake of fire.

Seeing as both bodies supposedly get their information from the same text - the Bible - how can such a difference of opinion exist?

And if the Bible is the perfect Word of God, how can it give rise to two completely different interpretations?

It is curious to observe how the theory of what is called the Christian Church, sprung out of the tail of the heathen mythology. A direct incorporation took place in the first instance, by making the reputed founder to be celestially begotten. The trinity of gods that then followed was no other than a reduction of the former plurality, which was about twenty or thirty thousand. The statue of Mary succeeded the statue of Diana of Ephesus. The deification of heroes changed into the canonization of saints. The Mythologists had gods for everything; the Christian Mythologists had saints for everything. The church became as crowded with the one, as the pantheon had been with the other; and Rome was the place of both. The Christian theory is little else than the idolatry of the ancient mythologists, accommodated to the purposes of power and revenue; and it yet remains to reason and philosophy to abolish the amphibious fraud.

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.

Alot of Catholics claim that we need to love Jesus to get into heaven. Jesus did NOT say this, his words have been twisted, to say that the faith of a person, their afterlife depends on them accepting and loving someone who isn't alive and is practically rumoured of existsing is plain silly, so what? Those more gullable than others have a better chance of getting into heaven? We can be as bad as we want but "we must love jesus", what about if we had never known of him, than we would all have gone to hell, God gave us the power and knowledge to believe in what we freely want to, that's why we are more intellligent, god gave us the power and now people think that life is about loving jesus, that the whole entire race must love jesus. Silly, just like how "we're not allowed to think about sex, it's perfectly natural and its in our nature, it causes no harm to others and isn't against god, he made us. And now it's "wrong" to be as god made us to be. How can anyone believe such things?

I know a lot of you join me in my celebration of Lindsay Lohan walking towards to lord. It's obvious she is much better than those actresses that act in jew movies.

I just read where Lindsay is dating another actor, Jude Law. If you can read between the lines, it's pretty obvious that Jesus is leading a revolution of Christianity in the world of Hollyweird, and Lindsay is leading the way.

She has been nothing other than sweet natured and altruistic in her young life, and it's good to see that she now, unlike most of you, will have an afterlife as well.

Although most American women walk around with their pants off all day, she can still lead them away from sin with her new found faith!

Amen

Amen
