If you love Jesus, you love God. After all, it was out of love that God created us in the first place.
Jesus is alive, not dead. Remember the resurrection? He live and reigns in heaven, at the right hand of the Father. We are not loving a dead memory, but a living true God, present with us always.
If someone has never heard of Jesus, naturally they would have a hard time loving Him. God knows this.
Yes, it is perfectly natural to think about sex. No one is telling you not to. What IS being stressed is HOW you think about sex. Are your thoughts and reflections healthy? Do you look at women lustfully, thinking of them as objects instead of respecting the dignity God gave them?
By studying the Church, a person learns freedom. After being a protestant for many years, I found that freedom in the Catholic Church, and I am forever thankful for it. I pray the same happens for you.
God bless.

You obviously know nothing about the Catholic religion. It is the evangelicals that say we need to love Jesus, and leave out God almost completely. We say we need to love God with our whole hearts.
Catholic Church is also the only one that says we need to do good works to prove our love. Funny we get bashed either way. It is faith AND works combined.
Also the Catholic Doctrine is even the non believer (athiest for example) goes to heaven if they lived a meritous life. Just as all non christian religions will (we are the only ones who say that).
Catholics also say sex is wonderful and awesome and powerful and needs to be respected because people love with body and spirit. To deny one is to degrade the other. Sex is beautiful and needs to be respected. It can be thought about and done, and has God's fullest blessing (after all our sexuality is a gift from him) in so long as it is done in a way that is healthy and nurturing to us and not hurtful, painful or degrading to anyone.
NOTHING OF WHAT YOU SAID IS WHAT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH BELIEVES OR TEACHES AT ALL. What you presented is fundamental evangelicalism, which Catholic are not.
Better luck next time.

You are getting pretty creative here. First in regards to getting into Heaven....God is a righteous judge, everyone will stand before the Lord and make their case.
"we're not allowed to think about sex, it's perfectly natural and its in our nature, it causes no harm to others and isn't against god, he made us. And now it's "wrong" to be as god made us to be. How can anyone believe such things?
You are wrong on this. God gives us rules to live by. You can argue without God that everything here is right but not with a God with laws. Sex is natural, sex with a woman is natural, sex with your neighbors wife is a sin. Thinking about sex with your neighbors wife is a sin.
So its all about how you go about it.

Catholicism has by no ability made an respected stance in this actuality. i in my view have self assurance he became Caucasian, yet a tan colour. think of the Greeks ( Israel and Greece are very close) and the Turks, they're. Caucasian, yet tan colored. I doubt you will ever bypass into between the church homes and spot Jesus on the crucifix as black, although. He usually has brown or black hair, with white or tan dermis colour. that is in all likelihood how he regarded. yet, it is not suitable what colour he became. i think of the Crucifixes contained in the Vatican additionally portray him as tan. So, to no longer disagree with the crucifixes, i'd in simple terms call him white and say he became Caucasian. Nazareth is technically contained in the midsection east, yet a individual from there would maximum in all likelihood be how I discribed him. Technically Jesus( out of the 4 races) would be considered Caucasian. The Church has by no ability made a fact with regards to the race of Jesus. that's unimportant and extremely miniscule to the religion.

To generalize anyone by their faith is ignorant and normally would not get a reponse from me, but to slander the name of Jesus, demands defending with this Catholic thought.
Jesus, the Son of God, the Son of Mary, died for you and me, yes I said you and me. And whether you like it or not, someday, we will be praising HIm and giving Him the Glory he deserves.
Sex on the other hand is not condoned by the Church, but if you wish to be an animal and not control your urge and do as you please then be my guest. People like you are so angry that they wish to take others down with them. Guess what, you lose.
Find out the facts first, then make your statements based on these facts and quit making an ignorant fool of yourself.
And remember always that God loves you more than you will ever love Him, and in your case that is good, because apparently no one else does except for that same Jesus that died for you and I.
God bless you always, thanks for the opportunity to spread the Gospel of life.

Wow; where to begin?...
<>
Is not the greatest Commandment, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul (paraphrasing)"? Jesus is the Messiah, God incarnate. That which Jesus commands, God commands.
Anyone wishing to be taken seriously is not going to claim Jesus didn't talk about love. Jesus taught about "loving your enemy", and "loving your neighbor as you love yourself". God IS love.
Also, no one wishing to be taken seriously is going to suggest Jesus' existance is "just a rumor".
<>
Jesus teaches us to "think like children", to be simple-minded. Adults, in their obstinate pride, look down upon such things, pride being a vice that blinds one from seeing God's Truth. Jesus teaches, "Let the children come to me.", but he is not refering only to the youthful age-wise. We are all children of God, and we should go to Him has the children that we are. The faithful, afterall, call God "Father".
As far as those who never get a chance to know him, His Word is written in the hearts of all people. By instinct people are attracted to a Higher Power, and that's why. Jesus teaches that "much will be expected from those who have been given much." A native on a tropical island - with no chance of ever hearing about Jesus Christ is not going to be held to the same standards as one who lives in a first world nation and has access to thousands of years worth of Church literature and excellent preachers. Again, because the Word is written in their hearts, they will by instict lead pretty much a morally proper lifestyle. Assuming you live in a first world country, you have access to everything I have listed above. You have been given much, don't let it go to waste. It is quite possible that the native who never heard of Jesus Christ before could get into heaven before you because he did more for God despite having less in the way of official theological instruction.
<>
God did not give us free will to do "whatever we want". That is the definition of licence, not freedom. God wants us to go to Him as volunteers, not conscripts. That is why He gave us free will - to choose Him. Inevitabley, many will not choose God but you cannot justify one person's wrong choice by pointing to the fact other people have also made that wrong choice as well.
God did NOT give us power. He gave us life. God does give power to those who endeavor to do His will, but I doubt you would be able to recognize one exercising such power even if you did see it.
And why is the idea we are all called to love Jesus so silly? God created all of us, not just some of us. Jesus sacrificed Himself upon the cross for all of us, not merely some of us. Is there more than One God out there? Is one god creating some of us and another god creating others? Of course not. We are all created by One God, the Giver of Life. Is He asking too much of us to thank Him for the Gift of Life? Not silly at all.
<>
And who created nature? God did, of course. Nature functions the way it does, not on it's own accord but, because that is the way God designed nature to function. Let's not get confused here. While sex is natural, it's use may not necessarily be natural - and that's why, given the circumstances, a sex act can be morally wrong.
Sex is supposed to take place between a married man and woman, married to each other of course. Just because the sex act can take place outside of a marital union, doesn't mean it should. The humna intellect has a way of letting true silliness get in the way of common sense. Think about that before you boast human intelligence again.
<>
What we are is not what God originally made us to be. Are you not familiar with the Fall of Man? It's in the Book of Genesis. People's twisted inclinations, such as perverted attitudes towards sex, only serves to demonstrate what happens when people begin to think they are the god's of their own realities, and God is irrelevant.
There are many different perversions that mankind has engaged in. It all proves how much we need to rely on God's Way of doing things, not ours.
