We innocently buy on favorable assurances and false claims and we find ourselves cheated.

We innocently trust blessings-brokers who sell us situation-specific non-existing holy wares and we find ourselves conned.

So, I've been going to the religion section of yahoo answers a lot recently because its something I know a lot about. I am a Christian and I was reading a lot of the questions and answers. A lot of them were so mean and disrespectful towards my beliefs. Honestly, why do you guys need to tear down Christianity so much. Sure, a lot of us may believe that you are going to hell, but so do Muslims, and I don't see anyone being so mean to them.
I know its easy to say mean things on here, because I have once, but why do people have to constantly be so mean.
Is it insecurity?
I also see that people choose the best answer according to their own beliefs. What's the point in asking if you already know the answer?
I'm sorry that I'm ranting but it gets annoying when people are insulting your beliefs every second. I try to always being understanding. Can't I get the same respect?

2 days ago I had almost 3,000 pts and was top contributor--I was on the computer at work--so than I go home and get on and I had already been logged on--well I get on YA, but I refreshed the page-except it knocked me down 300 pts. - back to where I was at home....so I sign out and sign back in - and here I am -shy 300 pts. what the crap is this? has this happened to anyone else? now I have to re-do all of these pts? :(

So, what, god likes a bit of messing with zygotes? Where's the overall plan, good and/or mercy in this? Really, I am curious why a merciful god would allow things like this?

And if so, the bible says the antichrist will walk the earth. Would you be afraid to meet him? Or the Two Witnesses talked about in Revelation - would you listen to their ministry? Would you believe in God if you saw the Witnesses throw flames from their mouths at someone? Even if you only saw it on T.V.?

Did you all always have no belief in God or did you have religion forced on you...and it just made you go another way? If you don't believe in God,do u also not believe in the Devil either? I was wondering if I'm the only one that feels this way. As a minority religion in the world I feel like we are persecuted and hated quite a bit. It actually makes me really nervous and I am considering moving to Israel to be with other Jews. I think it would be great if I didn't have to hear about Christmas for 4 months of the year and didn't have everyone telling me "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Easter"..... Anyone else feel the same?

How many times have you heard people say "I wouldn't believe in a God who would send people to hell" or "God is wrong for wanting people to worship him?" Do they really think they know more about love and what is right than the one who created love. And since God is the reason why they even exist, isn't worshipping God the least they can do. As for sending people to hell, it's people who choose to reject God, not the other way around.
