You by far, have given the best question I have ever heard on this site. The very fact that people reject God on the basis of their "feelings" is a bad argument.
There responses are based on feelings and you cannot let your feeling dictate the truth. You have to let the truth ultimatly dictate your feelings. The very fact that they want to apply their morals on God proves he exists, they are appealing to a moral law.

How many times have I heard people who say, "God will send you to hell for that?" It works both ways. You're speaking for God right now.

Some of the answers above pretty much support what your saying. The idea that God is more than man is difficult for some to understand. The problem, I suspect, is in the human concentration on the five senses. Because they are limited humans tend to expect all things to suffer from the same limitation. They, therefore, reject any concept that implies something is greater than they are.

That's a very good question. I don't know why people do it, but I know God's ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. I don't understand why people would be so bold to judge God as if he owes us something. But one day, God will be our Judge and the people who judge God will be held accountable for it. You're right, people go to hell because they reject God. God is giving everyone a chance to get it right with him. I'm with you 100%

It is a symptom of the world we live in today. People wanting to call the shots, and not taking injunctions from others. There seems to be a great lack of humility in the world toady, not taking any personal responsibility. For example, was it really McDonald's fault for the person spilling hot coffee? yet they got sued and lost large sums of money. No one takes responsibility for their own behavior and the unavoidable consequences any more.

Ahh, that most elusive and yet persuasive of human ideas, that of 'fair.'
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God is 'fair.' He is just and He is merciful, but he is not 'fair.' The quality of being fair is largely a matter of perspective. The same situation when viewed from one perspective seems fair and when viewed from another seems grossly unfair. And you're right, we can look up at God and cry 'That's not fair,' but we have no idea what the situation looks like from his perspective.

People impose their morals on God because they think they know better than the one that created them. I don't believe that God sends people to a fiery hell, but I do believe that "God is love", and that "to earthling man it doesn't belong even to direct his own steps." God does know better than us!
Think about it: who knows more about, oh, say a Boeing 747: the people who benefit from it, i.e. the passengers, or the aircraft engineer who actually designed it?
Hmmmmm . . . if I need to know about that plane, I want to go straight to the source, not rely on the other passengers, who, like myself, did not create the plane.
But all this was foretold in the Bible- that men would be "lovers of themselves, haughty, blasphemers," etc. etc.
We all have free will, and can choose to either serve God or not. We can't force people into believing in Him and trusting in Him any more than they can force us into not serving and believing in Him.

People send THEMSELVES to Hell by choosing lifestyles that God's word speaks against. I know that it's not a popular belief, but it's true.

Good question. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "God doesn't like homosexuals and will send them to hell" and "God wants everyone to worship him". How do we REALLY know what God wants? Aren't God's wants really what certain groups of people want?

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
