If you do, Why did you do it? You know better.

And if you claim it is Human nature ( to do something wrong or immoral ) then is it really wrong if its human nature?

If you say no you don't , I can live with that.

I even could be truthful i'm no longer a acceptable philanthropist like Gates or Buffet or Soros (all atheists). My charitable donations are middle of the line factor - couple thousand a three hundred and sixty 5 days at maximum and that i'm in a extraordinarily good bracket earnings-sensible. I do besides the indisputable fact that make efficient I provide some hundred to a number of charities starting from NPR to AIDS come across the right thanks to animal shelters. i'm also ok yet no longer large on the volunteer aspect too. I prepare individual literacy, participate in a each year adventure putting on a teach to develop funds for at-chance young children, and doubtless once a three hundred and sixty 5 days signal in for a soup kitchen shift. i'm truthfully middle of the %., yet even with the reality that so are many believers.

hmm... what do I do that's immoral... Actually, no I don't! I f-ck on the first date, and some old fashioned people might find that immoral... I used to use a lot of really hard drugs, and some people would consider that immoral... Those are personal choices.

I don't hurt people though... I don't support Bush... For the most part, I'm against animal testing... huh...

Yes I’ve done things I’m not proud of and regretted it. I’m kind of a guilty person to begin with. I feel bad if I step on a bug, but yes, doing bad things IS part of human nature. It’s also human nature to regret them. We could get into the philosophy of ethics, but it would take all night. The set of morals a person has depends on their culture and even then it varies among individuals. Sorry I couldn’t explain better than that.

Yes, I've done things in anger that were not good for me or for other people, and in so doing I have probably added to the suffering of the world. My chief offenses occurred when I was a teenager, but I've been angry other times, too. I've not hit anyone, but I've yelled at some people with some intense ferocity.

These are wrong simply because they are not helping to solve the problem. They are only working to defend my self-defined territory, and not helping all of us live in a community. I'm better at making decisions when I'm calm, and I work toward keeping that my good humor about me, even when life becomes hard. To me, that's acting in a more moral/ethical manner.

This is a weird question. I think it's clear that everyone, at one point or another, has done something they later realized was wrong. You simply acknowledge it, amend not to do it again, and apologize if necessary. Are you implying that Christians are better people because they ask for forgiveness in God? I really don't see how a belief in a creator is necessary to be a good and moral person.

Of course we do.

Everyone is tempted every day to make bad choices. They may be little bad choices like taking an extra cookie (my waist knows I've done that at least once too often) to shooting someone (a choice which I have avoided making despite temptation).

Human nature is complex and acting on emotions (which are part of human nature) is not always for the best. Part of what makes us human is our ability to act against our emotions or our instinct. The fact that we cannot always make the best choice makes us human in the pejorative sense but the fact that we recognize that we have a choice also makes us human in the noble sense.

No, I never do anything that feels wrong or immoral. Why would I do that? That's not to say that I don't make mistakes. I do. But why would I do something that I felt was wrong or immoral before I did it?

Do I ever do anything wrong? In case you haven't noticed, humans are imperfect so the answer is yes. We don't grow if we don't make mistakes we can learn from. Do I do anything immoral? No. I live my life as honest and as best as possible.

See, there is a big difference - when an atheist does something wrong or immoral, he blames himself. When a Christian does the same thing, he blames a supernatural non-existent entity called SATAN for his failures.

Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone does wrong. Few take personal responsibility.
