Well I would like to have your opinion on this topic; Respect.

So what is your opinion on it,

or

How do you want your funeral? I wouldn't want people crying and getting mopey unless i was murdered or something. I want to be put in a crimson ornate porceline jar and my funeral will be at the beach. I want there to be lots of food- cajun food like gumbo, shrimp and sushi because i loved those foods and i want my jar to be burried in the sand with my favorite piece of jewelry.

Where the authority came from for the various Laws and Commandments, or if the Laws and Commandments make sense?

If a belief system makes a person happy, and helps them be good members of society, why do you CARE where they say they got the ideas for their belief system came from?

Seriously, shouldn't we move past the "invisible friend" debates, and the "myths vs. facts" debates and figure out what makes people be nicer to each other?

Just curious, let the flaming from the intolerant "true Believers" and "wiser than you Atheists" commence I suppose...

about America being there? Do you resent our troops being there or are you glad they're there? Or have mixed feelings about it. Please explain your answer.

Depending on who you listen to on the news or in our government--we are either told the Iraqi people hate us and want us to leave OR they love us and are glad we removed Hussein from power. I often wonder who is telling the truth.

I posted this in R&S because I wanted a religious viewpoint. Thanks in advance.

"And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerve in the brain of Jupiter. But may we hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this most venerated reformer of human errors."
