Muslims are not required bur rather recommended (its optional/ a choice) for hygienic reason. Muslims wash their private parts with water everytime they urinate to ensure that no trace of urine will go to the clothes;ie underwears. For urine is considered as impure fluid thereby anything contaminated by it can not be used in praying or be worn to the mosque. Muslims pray five times a day so purity not only in deeds but as well as in physicality must be strictly maintained. Shaving the hairs of the genital region is one of the reasons that will surely ensure one that no trace of urine could be left on some of those hairs. Besides the underarm hairs are also recommended to be shaved. Again this is for hygienic reason. I am not a islamic scholar anyway. Smart Muslims no. We only allow the Quran to direct our religion.

Some Muslims follow Hadiths, so called sayings of the prophet, which were collected 200 years after Prophet Muhammad. So you can imagine the fabrications and nutness that people lied and put in those accounts.

ahahaha
nooooo.
honestly where do you people get this wacked up information from?
but it is a sunna (something the prophet did that is not obligatory) to clip or trim your armpit hair if you are male.
I dont know about your genital hair though.
This is for cleanliness.
Muslims are to be presented as clean people.
To stay clean is obligatory (according to your means. like if you cant afford allot of water..then you must stay as clean as you possibly can)
