He has in the past had a fairly strong connection with Chabad which strongly opposed to Messianic Judaism. He himself has said the "Yechi" prayer during one of his concerts which tends to indicate that he is (at least) favorable towards the Meshachist sect of Chabad. The Meshachists are a minority segment of Chabad which believed that the late Rebbe Schneerson (who died 13 years ago) was, is and will be the Messiah. The concept would still be that G-d is the Savior, the Rebbe as Messiah would just be an intermediary that works for the Savior (G-d) to help bring about Geulah (the final redemption / Messianic age.) The link to him singing Yechi is found here:

He says in this sound segment: "In case you don't know: Yechi Adonaynu Moreynu v'Rabbaynu Melekh haMoshiakh l'olam voed," as a bridge between two songs. Roughly translated that means: "Long live our Master, our Teacher, our Rebbe, King Messiah forever".
However, there are some Orthodox who believes that he is actually covertly teaching the "gospel" and have issued an alert which you can see here:

Last time I saw Matishyahu on TV he had dropped his black coat and black hat look that he has had all the other times I had seen him. He was dressed in brown and looked much less Chabadnik than before. I also heard that he had recorded a track with the Christian group P.O.D. which would seem to be a pretty "unorthodox" thing to do. So has he changed beliefs? Time will tell and the truth will come out.

He is Orthodox so he does not believe in the idea of a savior, as in Judaism we don't believe in original sin. We do believe in the idea of a messiah, though this person is a mortal man and is not a god in any way. He does not believe in J*sus as anything more than a mortal and as a real Jew, he is probably against Messianic "Jews."

he is an orthodox jew. this means that his only saviour is G-d and no one else. my guess is that his attitude towards messianic fake-jews is the same as the attitudes of all other jews towards christians pretending to be jews in order to win converts - pretty low.
