When a woman gets pregnant, the tissue in her breasts begin to change into milk-producing tissue.

When a pregnant woman gets an abortion, the hormones responsible for initiating the change cease to be produced because the baby was removed, the half-changed tissue doesn't reverse because the reversal hormones that are produced when the baby is born never occur.

As a result, an unknown number of women who have had an abortion are destined to breast cancer because those half-changed cells are particularly prone to acquiring cancer.

Is it a "punishment for women". I think that's a rather juvenile way of looking at it.

God gave us his law out of His great love for us. His desire for us is to be healthy and happy. Things that aren't healthy can be avoided by honoring the law of the Lord.

God is not mocked. Whatever a man (or woman) sows, so shall they also reap.

people that say that are afraid of the female liberation. They are afraid that now they do not only have to compete with men but also with women. They say anything they can to try to curtail or suppress female liberation. Like one of the answers here said, it really is wishful thinking

Because they are what I like to call "false Christians." They bought the t-shirt, but didn't go to the concert.

They are usually the same people who max out their Visas because they think the Rapture will come before the Visa bill.

This may not be accepted but the Lord showed me that breast cancer stemmed from hate and unforgiveness.

I'm a Christian and I never heard of such nonsense and we are NOT in the dark ages. As a Christian, I'll tell you this, "Any Christian who blames God for anything is not a Christian at all."

I'm a Christian, and this is the first I've heard of that. Sounds like another morsel of atheist propaganda to me. They love to tell us what we believe, so much so that they never have time to actually listen.

breast cancer runs in families, something that just happens, as far as it is a punishment, why would it be?

That is pure superstitious nonsense!

Next thing you're going to be saying an eclipse means God is mad at us or something equally as stupid!
