To all those who are saying it wasn't a choice, it is a curse. See Romans chapter one, and God can deliver you from this through Prayer and FASTING.

This kind comes out not but by prayer and FASTING!!!!!!!!!!

He (God) loves you and wants you to be free of this and has made provision for you to be free. No matter what you have heard. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By "religious ramifications" do you mean, are they mindless bigots? Then, no, they haven't.

What exactly is a "lifestyle choice" in this context? I have chosen to live my life in a particular way, and for a variety of reasons, none of which are anything to do with me being born as a lesbian.

WISDOM is talking total crap.

What you mean like telling me I am an abomination to their Lord and I will be deep fried in hell if I don't "straighten" out? Say it isn't so!

Yes, most of my family are fundie Christians unfortunately. The ones that are alive that is. Some of the ones who have passed away knew and accepted me just as I am.

I don't come from a bible-thumping family full of religious zealots (or idiots). My folks are fine with who i am.
Thanks for the 2 points ;-)

It's NOT a "lifestyle" NOR is it a "choice", learn before you speak.

edit/addition: and thanks for all the hate, it makes me put my pride shirt right back on and contemplate exactly what true altruism and compassion is really all about.
