Not sure how you'll like these, but i think they might strike a cord with you "The art of Dreaming" - Carlos Castaneda. Maybe not what your expecting but i think you might be pleasantly supprised. And the other (again probably not on your reading list) "The dharma bums" - Jack Kerouac. I think they are modern books, but i think they go a long way to helping modern spiritualists incorperate they're faith into living in the now.
If you think they're rubbish thats cool, but never hurts to suggest, worst you can do is say no.
Also one of the best sites i have found on Greek and Norse mythology is encyclopedia mythica at www.pantheon.org
Hope this helps

Encyclopedia of Wicca and Witchcraft by Raven Grimassi will give a good overview of most Pagan paths including a little bit of history on each one, the Sabbats and Esbats, most of the Gods/Goddesss and the main players in modern Wicca. Are you after an overview or something more specific?

On Paganism: "The Triumph of the Moon" by Ronald Hutton, as an account by a professional non-Wiccan historian on the rise of modern Pagan witchcraft.
This site has a very good book review section:

Stay far away from anything by Silver Ravenwolf.

The best book I can recommend on "Paganism" is "Paganism" by Joyce and River Higginbotham.
It is not a science or history book but it does cover probable origins and the wide field of your questions without referring to any single pagan faith. It is my "goto" book for worried parents of kids who are "getting into" a pagan tradition.

Hi Tabby,
Depending on where you are in your studies:
Scott Cunningham (Wicca) great for beginners,
Cassandra Eason (natural magick),
Gareth Knight (Celtic, Greek etc Great Author) more advanced heaps more info.
Marian Green (natural magick)
Stewart Frarr (witches god/goddess on all god/dess in all aspects from around the world)
Caitlin and John Matthews (great for celtic and shamanism).
Good Luck.
