Ezekiel 18:20 The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.

Abu Hurayrah said: recite, if you wish: “And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) but must believe in him [‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allaah and a human being] before his [‘Eesa (Jesus) or a Jew’s or a Christian’s] death (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he [‘Eesa (Jesus)] will be a witness against them”[al-Nisa’ 4:159]

Allaah tells us that this is not what happened, rather it was made to appear so to them, and they killed the look-alike and did not realize that. But he (‘Eesa) was taken up to Him, and he is still alive, and will descend before the Day of Resurrection, as is indicated in the mutawaatir ahaadeeth. He will kill the false messiah (the Dajjaal) and will break the cross and kill the pigs, and abolish jizyah, i.e., he will not accept it from any of the followers of other religions, rather he will only accept Islam or the sword. This verse tells us that all the people of the Book will believe in him at that time, and not one among them will fail to believe in him. Hence he said: “And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) but must believe in him [‘Eesa (Jesus)] before his death” i.e., before the death of ‘Eesa (peace be upon him), whom the Jews and the Christians who agreed with them claim that he was killed and crucified, but on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them, i.e., because of their deeds that he witnessed before he was taken up into heaven and after he descends to the earth again. Tafseer Ibn Katheer (1/762).

The parallel prophetic passage is Ezekiel's lamentation upon the king of Tyre:

You were the seal of resemblance, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. You were in the pleasures of the paradise of God; every precious stone was thy covering; the sardius, the topaz, and the jasper, the chrysolite, and the onyx, and the beryl, the sapphire, and the carbuncle, and the emerald; gold the work of your beauty: and your pipes were prepared in the day that you were created. You a cherub stretched out, and protecting, and I set you in the holy mountain of God, you have walked in the midst of the stones of fire. You were perfect in your wave from the day of creation, until iniquity was found in you. (Ezekiel 28:12-15)

There is much in the context that can only be understood literally of an earthly king concerning whom the words are professedly spoken, but it is clear that in any case the king is likened to an angel in Paradise who is ruined by his own iniquity.

Even for those who in no way doubt or dispute it, the doctrine set forth in these texts and patristic interpretations may well suggest a multitude of questions, and theologians have not been loath to ask and answer them.

HEY GREEN93XL !YOUR WRONG!
QUOTE
"We are all incapable of being sinless"
When a new born infant dies in his crib
he dies a sinless death just like jesus.
allowing him to stand before the father without a need for jesus
making this statement in the bible a lie
"no man can stand before the father except though jesus"

even if the child has a sinful nature YOU don't get to force
the child have to answer for a sin adam committed
and since he has committed no sin himself ,HE HAS LIVED A PERFECT LIFE!!!!!

ANOTHER BIG FLAW IN UR BELIEF'S
QUOTE
"You can't get something perfect from something imperfect so all descendants of Adam and Eve are sinners from the beginning."
since god created this child he created imperfection.
and don't give the excuse that sin is something that inherited
because god had a choice when he created this child
and i can prove it biblicaly
you see god choose to create the child with a sinful nature
because god also choose to create jesus without a sinless nature
remember the virgin birth that prevented jesus from having a sinful nature
well god could have given the virgin birth to the rest of man kind and let adam be dammed!
so it is not buy mans freewill that we have a sinful nature but by gods choice
this makes your god evil

That's the old Mosaic covenant, for Jews only, not for gentiles like Arabs or Europeans.

A prophecy in the old Testament that talks about a servant of God who will pay the price for others sins is in isaiah 52:13-53:12
"He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brough us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed". Isaiah 53:5

Note in New Testament that Jesus says he lays down his life of his own free will to save us, these are just a few of Jesus' own words to explain that he came to give his life as a sacrifice for our sins, so we could be forgiven (since payment HAS to be made as God is strictly just, it doesn't happen by mere wishing sin away).

John 10:11:
"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand (mere humans acting as religious leaders) is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away...."

John 10:18 "No one takes [my life] from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay to down and authority to take it up again [ie be raised from the dead]. This command I received from my Father"

John 3:13-14 "No-one has gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven - the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up [the crucifixion to come] that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him"

Ahmad, Jesus also died for you, though you reject Him. Ezek. 18:20 does not mean that He didn't die for anyone. It means that every person must, and will, be held accountable for their owns sins only, not for the sins of anyone else. In other words, God will not hold you accountable for sins your father or your son commit. They will answer to God for their own sins, as you will yours.

The Bible also says that apart from Jesus Christ there is no one who is righteous. So if a person does not accept Jesus as their Savior, they will not be righteous, and will not inherit eternal life.

The Living God & His Son Jesus are perfect love, but he also dispenses perfect justice. His perfect love causes Him to be merciful to those who recognize their sin and turn back to Him, but He cannot overlook those who willfully sin. Wicked people die both physically and spiritually. God takes no joy in their deaths; He would prefer that they turn to Him & have Eternal life. Likewise, we should not rejoice in the misfortunes of non-believers. Instead, we should do all in our power to bring them to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 2:7-11- To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor & immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking & who reject the truth & follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble & distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor & peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. ( No one will escape the final encounter with the Creator. Amen <>< <><

You are trying to make it have YOUR meaning. It is saying that you won't have to answer for a sin your father did. In other words, if your dad murdered someone, you don't have to answer for it to God, he does. In reverse, the good things he did, you don't get credit for. Because Adam sinned, we are born of a sinful nature. You can't get something perfect from something imperfect so all descendants of Adam and Eve are siiners from the beginning. We are all incapable of being sinless. THAT'S what Jesus died for. You and islam are wrong!

This means God won't make a way for unholy people to be able to commune with him? You misunderstood what Ezekiel is saying. Strange a muslim would quote Ezekiel, the one who prophecied that the Jews would return to "their" land (Ez. 36:20-22).
