It can't be proven. You'll find more stories about people who died on the operating table, saw Heaven, and were revived by the doctors than you will find about people who did the same, but saw Hell.
I did see ONE story where someone saw Hell, but for all I know, it was a story made up by a preacher to scare people.

I look at the world we live in and all the horrible things that happen here and THAT is a type of hell
and it's people that make this hell
and since a large part of the world is christian I think it's fair to say that they have played a part in making it a hell for people, especially when you take into all the forced conversions....
I have to imagine all the people who were tortured and died during the Inquisitions would assure you that was hell
so too with the Native American's who were killed for being "savages", and their children who were stolen to be raised by Christians.....that was probably a type of hell for the families
and the Holocaust, that was started in a Christian nation and was spread throughout other Christian nations and was against those that didn't fit the standard Christian morals, including Jews and Romas and gays and such...
so....yes, there is proof there is a hell, and there is proof that if you don't believe like the christians believe that you have a very good chance of being in that hell

I don't think you will go to hell, although I believe there is such a place. We will all eventually end up in heaven. Of course I can't prove any of this to you. I can't even prove it to Christians. I also can't get many of them to believe it based on faith.
Of course I am searching for some scientific principal that would fit in with the idea that if so many intelligent people have faith, there could be something there that scientists don't yet understand.

The proof you seek cannot be found in this life, if you don't believe the Bible to be the word of God. That requires faith.
I assure you also that it is true; however I would not threaten you with going there. That will be for God to decide.
Whether a person believes that something that is true isn't , doesn't make it any less true. So if you are wrong and hell does truly exist, you will find out for sure one day, one way or the other. :)

So, you've never seen a volcano? Where does all this molten rock come from? The core of the earth is a ball of melted (with heat that is over 1100 degrees F.) lava which is stone. And, there is no hell down there? I certainly don't want to go find out!

Now, now, be fair and don't ignore facts yourself.
Christians believe in the Bible, and some parts of that were written during the iron age.
And, no, of course they can't prove it. Even the best of them are still working on the "proving god" part. I'm sure they'll get around to trying to prove the supposed truth of Christianity after we're all theists.

I have no proof but why do you group us together. A true Christian would not do this, because the bible says, Judge and so shall you be Judged that is left up to God. I am sorry that the people that told you this has turned you against all Christians. But I also had a girl tell me this when she showed me a picture of Jesus in the clouds, and I told her it was a statue in the fog and told her where it was. I am Christian and it happened to me, but I did not let it bother me because I know the truth.

Hell is a state of mind.. You can be in hell on earth.. Look at the people starving in Africa with AIDS, they have to watch their kids die of curable diseases before them and drink filthy water with excrement all around it.. Getting food can be an impossability too, let alone shelter.. Some have never even heard of charity, and have never been helped by anyone. This gives them no hope. Being in that situation with no hope for change is surely one of the biggest tortures in existance.

First of all, to provide what human beings state as "evidence" negates everything God stands for. Proof of His existence is everywhere. So it stands to reason everything He says He was not lying. Secondly, that would also negate what we are supposed to do - live by faith alone.
Thirdly, it is not our job as true Children of God to tell ANYONE they are going to hell. That right is for God and God alone. Also, our responsibility as believers in Christ is to simply "put the bug in the ear and keep walking". For those who are not receptive to that Word, we are to "shake the dust from our feet and keep walking". Of course, I am paraphrasing the scriptures.
Then again, to have "credible" evidence as you so blindly put it of the existence of hell? Most people say that God is not real or that God is dead. But how can they think that when you show them the Devil/ Hell?!

The really sad part is that the bible they claim to know does not even teach such a thing. They take one parable (story) out of the new testament to form this horrid doctrine and yet no where else in the bible does it teach such a thing. The bible tells us over and over again that death is the final result of sin.
