mark 12:29 kjv. "AND JESUS ANSWERED HIM, THE FIRST OF ALL COMMANDMENTS IS ISRAEL; THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD"
in Islam we take the first commandment to mankind very seriously(at least the Good Muslims do, Good Muslim can't help what hypocrites of Islam do.) but Allah .SWT. told ALL mankind to worship no other but him. and people still give Allah SWT partnet after He had told ALL mankind not to...just because the Christians and Catholics have in their book not to worship nothing but God (and Jews) doesn't mean that we as Muslims don't have to follow the same commandments. we have to honor or parents too, WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO KILL EITHER. try telling this to the terrorists and i might get shot. however. we as Muslim give worship to Allah SWT only AS ONE. and think of it this way. IF WE WERE SUPPOSED TO WORSHIP JESUS.PBUH. THEN WHEN HAS JESUS EVER SAID "BOW DOWN AND GIVE ME PRAISE!" or "I AM GOD" no he says there is no God but God and we Muslims feel the same way as Jesus..to be con't

Yeah. Exactly! So then why are Baptist Christians fighting with Catholic Christians and Sunni Muslims with Shiia Muslims? Why is this divisiveness such a prevalent thing?

I wish that we could all just look at each other and have the following conversation:
Hi John.
Hey, Sayyed. How are you?
Great. Are you going to church tomorrow?
Yup. It's Easter and we're having a special service. How was your Friday?
Great. We went to the mosque....

It's really sad that people have the attitude of "My God is better than your God".

Jesus does say that he is God.

I think the problems Christians and Muslims have on this point is in the accuracy of the current translations. It is a lot like the differences between the Jehovah's Witnesses and Christians. There are plenty of Biblical references that I could site, but you will respond with 'corrupted' or something along those lines.

I have been reading the Quran. Why don't you pick up a Bible in either the NIV or NKJV translation, and we can talk.

look all you people dont bring in terrorism and killing and bombing. As my sister said dont judge a nation by its people man. Thats the only thing you non muslims pick on because you cant find anything wrong in Islam. Jesus not for once calls himself God in the bible and i mean NOT EVEN ONCE. How can God have a son in the first place. Wont that be like being unfair on other prophets like Moses. According to Islam everyone is out prophet from Adam to moses to Jesus to our beloved prophet muhammed (saw0 and the reason why we follow Prophet muhammed is because the bible has been changed by the christians to suit their own lives. So has the words and teachings of Jesus. But our beloved Prophet Muhammed (saw )'s teachings has always been the same and will remain the same. Sister ill support you Inshallah

It's so interesting to note that many people will keep on believing that Islam is a religion of terrorism despite the fact that those terrorists aren't real Muslims.
Also, in Islam we are not supposed to kill anybody or commit suicide. Apparently, people just want to let hate rot in their heart for 1.5 billion people. *sigh*

Based on their logic then I will assume that:
Every white male is racist and is a serial killer like Ted Bundy.
All Mexicans that I see are illegal.
All Black people are on welfare.
All Christians bomb abortion clinics.
All Catholics priests are child molesters.
All Germans loved Hitler.
Get the picture? I'm glad that I have common sense and don't stereotype people!

Salaamz sister,
I agree with you and am looking forward to these answers.
In the mean time I have a few things that some people might like to consider.
1. Are the sereal killers who are "christian" really christian terrisots just caus they claim to be christian?(i hope not cause no religon deserves this)
2. Let's just say for a minute that God did have a son. Is he so unpowerful that he had to send down his son to die in order to create a sinless baby?
theres alot more but just for one sec. consider these to things.

There needs to be more people who are as understanding as you are. I am Christian and my husband is Muslim. There is never a dull moment between the two of us (lol)

Us Christians take it seriously as well. We just have a different perception.

The problem with Islam is that there is no central leadership to keep radicals Muslim leaders in check.

Peace!

Did you know the Quran was written over 100 years after the christian bible had been written? Also that the Quran has a lot of the same stories except changed just a little bit. It s seems to me the Muhammed took the bible and made one of his own. Its way to coincidental for that to have happened. He also used his beliefs to do conquer a lot of areas while he was living. Do the research that I have then you might want to rethink what you believe.
