Many say they are fed-up with the worl,d the secularism, the direction of seeing more people being led astray by the Anti-Christ.

Jesus said this is just the beginning of *Birth Pains* of the pain and sorrow this world will endure before he does return..Knowing this do you feel you even need to be more on guard with your christian faith and the ones who will be persecuting you?

Two Questions!

Does the whole town really have to be together to stone my brother, Matt, for planting different crops side by side?

Can I burn my mother in a small family gathering for wearing garments made from two different threads?

Dear christians i need your help to find God ^_^

but the only way for me to come to god is if you tell me:

Choose any letter from the alphabet (but only 1)

and choose a number (make it a small number lik 4 or 5)

Thanks!
And may God bless you!

if your wondering why i need this, you should know by now God works in mysterious ways (And so do I ^_^)

A questiong was posed asking if Methodist embraced homosexual pastors, and someone had said yes - and I was just responding that this was not a true statement....but it seems as if I have opened a can of Whoopa....
This is not to say that any person is not accepted...just not their action (the word says love thy neighbor, but it also says hate sin)(

Hi!
My name is Noori and I am wondering about all other religions out there.
The only religions I really know about are Islam and Christianity.
Can anyone else explain some other religions to me such as Buddhism, Catholicism, Paganism, Hinduism, Judism, or any religion that you think I should know about.
Also, can you include the religion's main beleifs.
Thanks in advance.
Peace to all!

I am not a catholic but I do love studying the bible and the history of christianity. I am fully aware of the Constantine era, but I am mainly concern about the so-called underground christians that began as the "Vatican" Church

I simply asked, per a ethics paper at my Christian College, a hypothetical question about God in another post of mine, here, and my Christian brothers and sisters went NUTS!

All they said was, "I cannot even think this" or "That's like asking me to not believe in water, etc..."

Well, DUH!

What's wrong with asking someone to imagine what life would be like if suddenly the water disappeared?

Nothing.... All it takes is for you to think:
"OK, no water... The plants would all die, the world would smell like rotting fish, people would die..."

But when it came to my question:
"How would we Christians respond to this?"

My Christian friends refused to even think about it or answer it!! What's going on, here???

When you confess your sins, do you have to confess all of them for all the sins to be forgiven? What about mortal sins? Do you have to confess them to make them forgiven?
