I don't interpret Revelation literally... so does that mean im going to burn in the lake of fire for all eternity??????

Why is this question offensive? I don't have a problem with the Bible, just with fundamentalists who ram their literalists interpretations down our throats.

Your question is kind of offensive, implying that just because you interpret the Bible literally, you are a redneck...

However, having my own dissatisfactions with the Baptist faith, I'll answer you...

No, I do not believe you will burn in the lake of fire for all eternity because you don't interpret the Bible literally. I am Episcopalian and our tradition does not interpret literally. We (and I) believe in faith, reason, AND scripture. Not all Christians are rednecks or legalists.

No. Jesus, from the cross said, “ It is finished” (John 19:30) there is nothing left to do. He is a loving and forgiving God. And I'm not sure that not interpreting Revelation literally is a "deadly sin" :)

No one interprets revelations literally.

Where does it say in the Bible that you have to interpret revelations literally or you go to hell.

Oh ya I forgot, you never read the Bible.
