Dear little e,
Actually, we are presently in the period known as the Great Tribulation (matthew 24). This period precedes the 2nd coming of Christ. This period began in 1988, which marks the 13000th anniversary of the history of the earth. In 1988 the Lord stopped using the local churches because they had brought in so many false doctrines and practices. Satan in now ruling in all the local churches, regardless of denomination (2 Thessalonians 2). Those people remainning in the churches have absolutley NO POSSIBILITY of being saved but are actually under the wrath of God.
However, outside the churches, the Bible tells us that a great multitude that no man can number are today being saved (Rev 7:9). From everything that we read in the Bible, it appears that 2011 may be the year in which Jesus Christ will return. His second coming will mark the end of the world and Judgment day.
I hope this helps you.

Christianity is not a fad.....it's not something that's trendy or in style. It is a religion and for you to put it in the same catagory as skinny jeans is ridiculous.

I believe it is becoming harder and harder to explain away the logical opposition to Christianity.

I think so, but it'll take a long time. And it might yet reform itself into something new.
